Went up here to Pete Boast's Flat Track School with a bunch of track day instructors. Boy was it fun and a great leveller. The track instructors could not get their head around pushing the bike, their body and head in the opposite direction of what they had been brought up to do. You could not have more fun on a 125cc in 2nd gear. It was carnage but all at low speed with no majors. Just one thing, make sure you go up with enough buddies to shoehorn you back into your van afterwards, cos your left leg will no longer function. We didn't leave this place with a smile on our faces, just pure belly laughs just like Lee

I went before Covid to the flat track school it was the absolute best fun ever, Pete is a legend and the other instructors who were working, I even bought a crf 125 to start going regularly and never did….this video has reignited my wanting to go back now so cheers Lee …..as said the absolute best advice is get the foot with the metal boot up and on the peg once you have exited the corner or it will ruin your day you can’t move your leg after a few minutes ….and don’t worry about what gear you take I wore my leathers and boots I wear on the road but I did use a moto x helmet …..best fun ever and many professional motorcycle riders from all disciplines go especially road racers as Lincolnshire has heaps of those that can’t go on the tarmac so go flat track, seriously talented instructors work there and if you go on a daytime we went to a local pub for lunch that was also cock on ….best day ever 👍

I raced Boastie and managed to beat him in a heat race at Peterborough but on the whole I was shit I overestimated my ability I still have my flat track bikes .
