I just got back from spring break with our nephews. My plan was to do a vlog but I really wanted to be in the moment with them, instead of checking off the boxes next to my shot list. Sure I got some stuff and I'll piece it together. But it's not my original plan and that's ok. Thanks for this video.

This makes me think of my daughter who made a comment the other day about how I need to take pics of everything. I like filming all my experiences more to capture the moments. If I get footage from it-Great. If I don’t-aw well. Quality time with family is always first k foremost! Nice video! ❤

This resonated with my week.... Didn't film a thing this week because I didn't know what to film so I didn't force it. Thanks for the reminder that not everything needs to be content.

Where's your quality

Really great video! Your point of view and approach to content creation resonate with many of us (especially us "older" creators). Looking forward to seeing more of your videos in the future.👍

I always say keep going however… “keep trying” is pretty brilliant. I’ve been watching a few of your videos and what I have gathered is…..you have your priorities in order. Family❤ And you make great videos. I’m 54. I quit my job of 31 years because life is too short.😊

Let’s do daily vlogging! Let’s not be pressured to make our contents perfect. This is supposed to be our outlet! Help with mental health and stuff. Let’s do this for ourselves! Things will follow 😊

Everything has to be content.

I did 30 videos in 30 days when I started. It was really good at getting me better at editing, managing my time and coming up with a plan. I kept my videos about 5-7 days ahead of the publish days. Started with 5 ready to go. By the end I was just scraping by on uploading. It was a fun challenge but a whole year?! No way! I want to be more consistent with my uploads today but I agree, I gotta like what I am putting out more than anything.

Great points. I've been struggling to think of content to make like many of us YT channel peeps. I work a full time job that is unrelated to my filmmaking projects. I've decided to just expand what my videos will be about. My channel name is, All Things Film, so that really gives me a wide breath of possibilities. I have focused on camera and gear reviews most of the time. But, I was really limiting myself. My channel is still small so I don't even have any companies throwing gear at me to review. That being said, my Osmo Pocket 3 is arriving tomorrow. I'm actually pretty excited about it. As a filmmaker, it has a lot of applications in my mind. So, besides talking about it in a video, I plan on writing a short film to see if I can use it as the sole camera to film the short. If it works out as well as I hope, I might just end up selling a lot of gear and pay off some debts. I've seen two of your videos, and they're both quite good. So, I've subscribed. Cheers.

I've been only using the Osmo Pocket 3 for all of my videos the past six months. Quick and easy to turn on and just start recording, also not having to worry about a separate audio solution with the mic. I hope you like it, and you can sell off some of that old gear!

@@BrandonBautista btw do you have a streamyard tutorial? If not can you make one? I’m thinking about learning to use it lol

I don't, but here's a really good one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3XbaZmBo7pmic0 I think it's super user-friendly, and that you'd totally get the hang of it pretty quick!
