I thought of her as a very knowledgeable older sister type person. With info on many topics. I actually don’t have a stoma but that’s how I found Hannah. Hannah is/was always more than “just a sex educator” or “someone with a stoma”. (I like to educate myself on medical conditions. Bit of a special interest of mine. I appreciate knowing how it works as I never outgrew my curiosity and if it’s been a better change for the person

I found your content during puberty, and now I'm a 26 year old lady. I grew up with your content and it's been SO helpful as I've matured (especially coming from a household where sex was ~taboo~). I am so thankful for it, but totally understand wanting a change. If it isn't filling your cup anymore, it's time for something new. I'm excited to see more of whatever you do.

Found the Hormone Diaries when I was 15 in 2017, and it was so helpful and the beginning of education I should’ve gotten from school or my parents but didn’t. Thank you for everything you’ve done, I’m particularly appreciative of you covering disability in your videos as it’s often skipped over in conversations about sex and relationships. Wishing you the best for whatever happens next for you.

I'm loving this recap of Hannah KZbin Lore! I also love the theme/focus of this transition being one of joy, reflection, self-awareness, and celebration! My professor from an online intensive class I took over the summer spoke a lot about the idea of "ending well," which is something I really want to learn how to do. Thank you for such a beautiful example! I'm also (squared) soooo glad you're going to get a chance to rest. Go get that sweet, sweet brain massage that is therapy and frolic as the organizational queen we've all known you to be!

omg can't wait for a sweet brain massage 😅 and yes! the "ending well" thing is definitely something that came up A LOT especially in conversations I had with my dad. A couple years ago he stepped down from a big role he had at the Manchester University so we had a lot to talk about in terms of career transitions and he talked about how "ending well" was really important for him too.

As someone who has gone through a huge career shift in their early 30s, I want to say well done and hope you get the same sense of relief I did shifting to work you feel passionate about but does not take anything away from you mentally. I know I did, even if there were a few things I had to sacrifice to get there. We all need space to say the current path I am going down is not right for me, time for a change in direction. Best of luck and enjoy your rest!

so excited for you, Hannah! it's super inspiring to see someone (in the public eye, as you say!) seeing a career change as the exciting and positive thing that it is, I'm someone who quit what I thought would be my dream job all of my life at the end of 2020 and I also had the feeling of 'but what now?!' and the fear of what people would think about my 'thing' (teaching) changing as it's always what I wanted to do but I'm the happiest I've ever been since leaving and you will be too!!! massive congratulations 💛

Hannah. Thank you for everything. I don't have the words to explain how much your videos and general online presence has meant to me over the years. I remember showing my mum a video of yours about periods circa 2013/14 (I think) and telling her how mine were so different - this is what finally convinced her to take me to the GP and get diagnosed with PCOS! And after that we watched a lot of your videos together, as my mum never received proper sex ed at school or learnt about women's health either. Thank you for everything you've done for all of us, for all of your time researching, recording and editing, along with everything else. Good luck in your new venture.

I just want to say thank you. I can't think of a particular moment to submit, but before I did therapy or read any sex books or had any friends who spoke openly about their own sex lives, I had you. The way you talked openly, freely, completely without shame, about your body and your sexual pleasure and figuring stuff out with your stoma - it showed me that it was okay to be that open and confident about my own experience, even without all the answers. I was so wrapped up in shame and frozen up with perfectionism, I barely dared to tell anyone about even non-sex problems in my life in case I'd expose myself in a mistake somehow. I mostly ignored issues with my own body and just hoped they'd go away (I once bled for *months* after getting the subdermal hormone implant before going back to the doctor on the edge of collapse from anemia). Now, at the age of 32, I regularly talk about vaginal health with my best friend, I understand my own psyche so much more, and I too am making big changes and hard decisions about what to do with my life and relationships, knowing there is no 'right' choice and my own needs count. So thank you Hannah, and congratulations! ❤

Hannah, I found your videos when I was 22. I felt an instant sense of comradery with this person who was my age but from a different culture and space but still shared my values about sex positivity, body positivity and feminism. I've learnt so much from you over the years - about sex, relationships, disability, responsible fashion, productivity, parenting and so much more. I've watched you grow over the years and have grown with you. You’re always great at presenting in videos which definitely started with your eager enthusiasm to learn and share that knowledge, but seeing you in this video so excited for your next chapter i can see that your presenting had at least a little become just presenting and less enthusiastic. But in this video i think you’re the most ‘alive’ we’ve seen in a long time and so that makes this news good news instead of slightly disappointing news. In fact I think we can call it great news! You’ve achieved so much in the past 12 years and quite a lot in the past 5 that I’ve been watching, so I can only begin to imagine the amazingness that you will produce in the years to come whether we directly see the results or not. Fly little bird you are free!

I've only been here since the end of 2017. I was living undiagnosed with a chronic illness and I think subconsciously I was looking for someone to tell me that my body failing me wasn't the end of the world. (Massive shout out to Jessica Kellgren Fozard for also helping with this too!). I stuck around for your journey with UC and found your honesty so helpful. I then found all your Sex Ed content really interesting and stuck around for the long run. I even have you to thank for finding the perfect person to make my wedding dress! I ended up getting my dress from the same person who made yours because I hate shopping (and most fashions aren't made for my body) and when you described the process of getting your dress made I was like THAT I want THAT! I'm writing all this because I want to let you know that finding your channel has has a positive influence on multiple aspects of my life and I'm very grateful for it. Now it's exciting to see where this next chapter takes you and I'm really pleased you've made this decision, as it's clear you've put a lot of thought into it and it seems like a very healthy choice for you. I would like to comment midway through watching the video to say how much I appreciate Hannah as a more casual viewer than maybe the patrons or the people here from day 1. I have also been a fan of KZbin and its early-day vloggers, and though I never made a channel with my vlogs, I thought about it for YEARS and followed creators I liked through KZbin's different eras. It's SO nostalgic to hear Hannah explain how she got to where she is now (thank you for this by the way, it's an incredibly interesting segment of the video) and though I was never a subscriber that watched every single video, every HW video I have watched, I have also loved. I am a big fan of the More Hannah channel which I would say I watch more than the main one, so I'm excited that it will stay up and continue to grow

So proud of you! I remember being vaguely aware of you when i was at university, an occasional viewer, but i found your content an absolute godsend in 2018 as i went through a lot of the same experiences as you with a horrendous bout of UC. I found your disability content so incredibly helpful and hopeful when i was doing my best to fight against it and it very much helped me to accept my situation and eventually take the leap to get my stoma. Before making the decision to have the operation i was afraid, but your content gave me realistic expectations of what was to come, and I'm so so grateful for that. Seeing someone struggle, but also continue to have a fulfilling life (sexual and otherwise) was huge for me and it made the leap feel more like a hop, and my life has been changed for the better as a result. I'm sad that it's the end of an era, but I'm sure what comes next is going to help as many people as you have already and i know youre going to continue to do some great things! Keep up the good work, we're all rooting for you and can't wait for what's next!!

Truthfully, so happy for you Hannah! I’m just a couple of years younger than you and I’ve been watching you since *near* the beginning, so it’s been great to seemingly grow alongside you and your content, on both channels. I also wanted to say: you were never “just” the sex one, but moving away from sex ed content doesn’t mean losing that edge! I can imagine that over a decade of navigating production, sponsorship, etc. of media on taboo topics could be a big selling point as a project manager. Your skills are more than the subjects you apply them to! I’m excited to see whatever you do next! 💖

Hannah, I learned about you through your main channel first but this year I have only been watching content on your second channel. I love that side of you, where you share such a refreshing take on parenting, finances, lifestyle/time management, and fashion/sustainability!!! Hope to see more of that content and also encourage you taking a step back to process all of this and recalibrate. You have my continued support :)

I started watching your channel probably in 2015 and looking back on the role your videos played in my life, it gives me big-sister-I-never-had vibes. A little bit of sex and relationships, discussing birth control, going out into the world, fashion, organization, it was like watching a big sister do it first. Your content filled some of those gaps. At one point you made a video going through your makeup bag and talking about moving toward cruelty free products. That really influenced me to start looking for better brands. You also challenged some internalized sexism I didn’t know I had. I’m 25 now and I love watching More Hannah. You’re so different from me and I really value the thoughtful perspective you bring to this bit of the internet. Keep doing you. 💚

Thank you for all the wonderful videos Hannah! Your videos have been such a good resource to pull information from in so many different areas and has been a huge support throughout my late teens-mid twenties. -When I was unsure if I wanted to get an IUD, I watched your hormone diaries episode and it gave me the courage to do it! You went into so much detail about the entire process, which was really reassuring. -Within the last three years, two of my family members have gotten stomas (genetic disorder). Your videos have helped me a lot in connecting with them, and coming to terms with the fact that I might also need one someday and being fully okay with that without feeling scared. -To add on top of that, your videos have been (and will continue to be) amongst the favourites that my partner and I enjoy watching and discussing together. They have brought out some really great conversations that I'm really grateful for. A big loud THANK YOU to you Hannah, and congratulations on taking this next step in your life and career.

Thanks so much for all the videos over the years. I started watching you in secondary school, and it's always felt like I was watching my big sister. I want to thank you in particular for your openness and honesty through all of it, especially your health problems, financials, pregnancy, motherhood, and now with this final decision. I find it's so rare in online creators, so thank you for voicing what the rest of us are thinking. Congratulations and all the fucking best on whatever you end up doing!!! You'll be brilliant and you'll be missed, thanks for everything❤❤❤

Congratulations, Hannah! I watched you most back in the Banging Book Club era and after - I think I discovered you through Leena - but I always admired how clear eyed you were about KZbin being a business and a career, moreso or more publicly than most of the creators I was watching at the time. This feels totally in line with that - I'm really impressed that you caught the burnout before it happened and were able to make this decision with excitement and energy. You're going to be amazing at whatever comes next; have the best time! (and happy belated Hanukkah!!)

It's so cool to hear you're going sideways with your passions! Really understanding what your interests and drives are and not tying your identity to 'The Thing(TM)' seem key in avoiding burnout. I remember reading somewhere that having a 'mission statement' that represented your core and wasn't tied to a singular job role or title was a more fulfilling way to tackle life - you're a lovely example of that! All the best on your next journey.

This is so bittersweet but I’m so happy for you Hannah ❤ I’ve been following for around 8 years now, ever since I found your hormone diaries about coming off the pill (it’s what inspired me to take control of my fertility health and stop taking hormonal birth control myself). I can't remember when I started watching your videos (2016-17 maybe), but it's been long enough that if my husband hears a British woman on our TV he pops in and asks "Is that Hannah?" I'm so happy to see you making this transition on your own terms and with such joy. I've definitely been one of those watchers who has gravitated to More Hannah as of late. I think a lot of us in our 30s are feeling the shifts of life personally and seeing other folks we've engaged with since we were "young" navigate them is reassuring somehow. A year ago, I quit my full time job and went all in on nannying and running the printing business my husband and I started. It was a bit scary, but I felt that same sense of relief you spoke about. Things have gone so well over the last year and I'm so confident in my decision. I hope that the next years bring you peace and success in what you choose going forward.

I remember your learning how to cook videos from when I was a teenager. I don't know if I found you through them, or if I watched them right after I found your channel (maybe through other people's vlogs? idk, it's been too long lol), but if it was the latter, the videos were still pretty recent I think. either way, it's crazy to think I've been here since pretty much the beginning. it doesn't feel like that many years to me (I struggle with time blindness. everything is just blurs together), but when you laid out the timeline, it really helped me see it. it's so cool to have watched you grow and change over the years and to have learned from and with you as I myself grew and changed (I'm 29 now). your videos on sex and relationships have helped me immensely over the years (on top of just being interesting in general because I like studying and learning about it. not practicing it though, which was a big surprise, because it turns out I'm ace. your videos helped me navigate that and figure that out too), but to me it's your videos about your health that have made the biggest impact on me. I'm chronically ill, but it didn't start being a problem until late 2013. and it progressively got worse over the years. your videos about your UC, how you were coping after your surgeries with being disabled as compared to before, etc. they really helped me accept what was happening to me as well. giving myself the permission to accept that I'm disabled is one of the most important things that I've done in the past few years (not just for me personally, but also because it opened my eyes to ableism. I'm now very vocal about fighting it and try to be an advocate whenever I can), and you helped me with that. so thank you for your content and company over all these years, but thank you especially for those videos. I'm a bit sad about this chapter closing, but I'm also happy and excited for you. I hope for nothing but joy and fulfillment on your journey and I'll be more than glad and grateful for whatever you choose to share with us.
