These are not the games that will pique my interest in buying a playstation 5. I am not interested in replaying games that I already own for my ps4 and xbox one, I'm waiting for new games. More specifically forspoken, god of war ragnarok and spiderman 2. Deathloop, returnal and ratchet & clank rift apart are the only reasons i'd want a ps5 now, but maybe this fall if gow ragnarok and forspoken actually do come out before the end of the year. I also do not own a 4k hdr tv either, for now i'm fine with gaming in 1080p.

Theres a very good reason people dont trust sony and how many times have they been hacked enough said why no one wants sony Ps4 is being emulated on 300$ hardware in 2020 ps5 should be educatable in 2025 And in terms of graphics of these games the next nuc should be able to run these all with a huge energy savings

R&C is the best game I’ve played in years and I’ve not had to pick my chin off the floor like this for even longer. I seriously don’t understand how Control gets a mention over this. There are moments where you can take a screenshot and it could easily be mistaken for a motion picture.

I’ve had a PS2, 4, and now 5, and I have only one word to say - Returnal. I was a bit sceptical about it at first, but can honestly say that it is one of the best games that I have played in a loooooong time. It’s challenging, beautifully executed, and despite the seemingly repetitive nature of the genre, the environment keeps surprising me which keeps my interest and the suspense constantly high. It’s genius imho.

Ghost of Tsushima was honestly probably one of the best games I've ever played. The only thing that annoyed me was the loading times. I'm a chronic "check my phone" while loading person, so whenever I fast travel, or even just start the game, I pick up my phone, open Twitter, then have to put it down before Twitter even loads because I'm right back into the game. Of course, that's not a bad thing, but it really does highlight the future of gaming.

Oh definitely, I'm the same exact way! It took me a while to get used to as well since I would always browse ebay while there was a loading screen😂I guess it's for the better since theres less time spent waiting around I get to play more of the game. Also, Ghost of Tsushima is one of my favorite games also. I think I might even like it better than god of war ragnarok.

I played kena on master difficulty and wow what a tough game it is, I spent hours and hours defeating 1 boss after the other, it can be extremely challenging but you feel so accomplished once the journey is over. The game will definitely test your memory and patience, it’s one of my fav games of this year and of all time.

I was hesitant on buying Kena, but wow, that game has blown me away. The art is incredible and you can totally see how Ember Lab was an animation studio first. The emotion the characters portray is something I haven't seen in a video game before.

I’ve never understood what ”GTA clone” really means. It’s often mentioned as something bad but I don’t know of any GTA clones besides Saints Row and that is really not that similar to GTA. I’d say that type of game is actually pretty unusual today. Realistic action open world games without fantasy/sci-fi elements isn’t common anymore. These Final Fantasy clones are a bigger problem imo. The market is absolutely filled with fantasy games like this that all look the same. I’d appreciate more GTA clones tbh.

@@GoHardOrGoHome85 Are there any next gen Xbox games yet? The only game I've been playing on my Series S is Halo Infinite. I've had enough of playing old games on both PS5 and Xbox Series S. There's not much new because 2021 was the worst year for gaming possibly of all time. Halo Infinite is great but I have yet to experience a next gen game on Xbox Series S unlike PS5. I'm happy with the console, but I'm not keen on the controller or the fact that there are still no next gen games that I know of. Excited for Stalker 2 and Starfield though.

The plot is cool and has some nice moments, besides, the level design and art is really good, the music too. You pretty much can finish it in a sitting and enjoy it for what it is. @@SuperJumpReviews Water is my favorite aesthetically, but I find myself using Wind the most often, followed closely by Stone, now that it is maxed out. Fast heavy attacks are really helpful, especially with Gosaku armor. Doing a stagger build now. I added points into the 4 stances last. The versatility of tools was my main focus at first.

Just started Iki island, and I'm amazed how much they added to it. Then I still have New Game+ to tackle before I even touch Legends Mode. For me its definitely one of the best games I've played. It does have more of a arcade feel then steep did but it has so much more to do and way more views to look at. You could literally play everyday and find new areas you have not seen. 10/10 for me. Also I love that the locations are real places that people do these extreme sports at. Yup rider's republic, definitely recommend I had alot of fun playing it 😁

Considering ps5 actually because of "Control". The best things about control im my opinion are the "eye candy" and "fireworks". Playing it at ps4, it lags and stutters during the most intense of fire fights, and that really tones down the excitement.

You've probably already worked this out - but Shenmue is more the ancestor of the Yakuza series, and Judgement/Lost Judgement are more like spinoffs of that (as is the Fist of the North Star game). The Yakuza games seem to be turning into turn-based rather than action.

I hope people play Guardians of the Galaxy, the game is very underrated. You will feel like you're watching a movie, not a single minute of the game is boring, the fact that the sound track literally gives you the whole Guardian of the Galaxy experience. It is like watching a movie complete with characters banter when traversing and fighting enemies. Just one of those things that surprise you.

We just got our PS5’s…wife upstairs, mine downstairs…we transferred GTA V over from ps4…wow! The controller triggers were a surprise! Lol so weird getting used to the extra “pull” on R2 to shoot weapons. Especially trying to quick shoot rocket launchers from cover! Can’t wait for GTA 6!!

Good list. I haven't played all of these yet. But I was honestly hoping for a top 10 list of games that are ONLY on PS5, not also on PS4. Sure games play and look better on the new consoles, but I think we are lying to yourselves, to justify our purchase, if we say previous PS4 games bring a whole new experience on the PS5. I had just as much fun with GoW, Spider-Man, and Uncharted on the PS4 as I did on the PS5. I would like to see some games that really push the PS5 console. What makes it "next-gen" besides the control functions? Why did I upgrade from PS4 Pro to PS5?! I want to see those. I haven't played R&C: A Rift Apart yet but I want to see what that game has to offer. All of this is also true for the Series X. What makes getting that console "next-gen" above the One X?!

Well, if you want games just for the ps5 then that's gonna take awhile. Sony's doing a lot of cross platform releases now because not many people have a PS5 and they can't make them fast enough. In the mean time, Gran Turismo 7, Horizon Forbidden West, GOW Ragnarok, Ghostwire Tokyo and Forspoken is just around the corner👌

You do realize it's only the start of the next gen cycle... it won't be long until the true potential of the next gen consoles really shows. I mean take a look at the previous console cycles and how the games got better and more advanced the longer the console was out...

Rift apart justifies the ps5 purchase. To answer the Xbox question: series x has faster load times, quick resume, the ability to play games specifically upgraded for series x/s (which allow for 120 FPS online multiplayer) and last but not least FPS boost for 100+ backward compatible games.

I got a PS5 because I could no longer be without experiencing Red Dead Redemption 2, and since the PS5 was available I got one. It was during those chip shortages, and I came upon a bundle, even the people at the store didn't knew about it, weird luck I guess. The bundle had a second controller, Mike Morales, GT7 and ... Ghost of Tsushima. I'll just say that GOT was so good, I even postponed RDR2 until I finished it first. It's beautiful, fluid, innovative, well written, historically accurate ... it's a masterpiece of modern videogaming. And you can use the expert HUD, it's so clean it looks more like a movie than a game, and the developers knew it, there's even the Akira Kurosawa filter. I just feel bad that it's a Sony exclusive, wish all people could play it, so underrated it hurts.

Very good list bub as a sports game nut I’ll argue there isn’t much out there for sports game EA has pretty much ruined all their titles In my opinion The Show is still a solid game for sure but it’s being to show a little repetitiveness (but still very good) So it was nice to see some new games and that Final Fantasy looks great!!
