As a kenyan in a western country would prefer Living in Kenya and planning to move back. Most western countries have a system that is made to build the country more than individual wealth accumulation by ensuring people go to work daily and you can't stay without work , constant bills and always under pressure. Kenya has a sance of freedom more active life, less work oriented and more appreciation to simple life. 🙌

Expat rankings 2021, Kenya was ranked the best place to live in Africa and 21st globally. USA was ranked 34th. So things don't look "As seen on TV" . Don't just constrain yourselves to the usual joints like europe and Asia. Visit other countries outside your comfort zones and see for yourselves and not what you see and read on Media or engrained perceived perceptions. Dave and Mani were voted the best influential travel vloggers in Kenya beating many local vloggers and are living their best time of their lives and have become "Kenyan Stars" celebreties in their own right because they took a different path of exploring places most nomads would not think of ever moving to and also showing the positive sides of those places. Every country has its ups and downs including USA.

Can you recommend a safe, inexpensive Airbnb near downtown, so I don't need a Uber each time I go out. Not looking for a high end residential Airbnb; I'm vacationing on a budget. Also can you recommend a reasonable tour guide. I plan to visit Mombasa, but, keep my Airbnb until I leave. I surely appreciate any assistance you extend on my first trip to Nairobi. It has been highly recommended to contact you through your video. I've been looking forward to this trip to Nairobi and Mombasa for quite some time. Great interview, but I still find your selection of images contrary to what Dave Mani stands for. They still mirror Kenya from a Western lens. You could have done better to give them the representation they deserve.

I noticed that too. There are tones of free images of Africa besides mud huts. You tube has hundreds of videos on Kenya vacations. The perception Dave Mani was trying to create of Africa away from the usual stereotype of Africa by the media , was defeated right there with that mud hut. Also , Kenya is not just wildlife but has one of the best beaches in the world and this is not coming from me but others who have been to Kenya. check this American enjoying himself in one of Kenyas many beautiful beaches . he says he has been to 50 countries and the beach in Kenya is the most beautiful he has ever been to hands down. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y560qKZ9o7yNd8k
