It just means that you are human! You don't have to love every single minute of motherhood in order to love being a mother.

Saying that you should enjoy every minute of motherhood is like saying we should love every minute of our lives. I don’t enjoy every minute of of high school and having heaps of work and tests sometimes (I know high school is easier than being a parent) but I know that you get something out of raising your kids right just like I get something out of doing all my work. You’re motivational. I sometimes think about how I have trouble with school and think, “If Kristina can get through parenting, I can get through high school.” So you’re a real inspiration

Man I’m new to your channel and man if I had heard this when my son was a newborn being a 17 year old senior in high school with postpartum and not ever hearing anyone even say that word, man would have saved me years of feeling guilty. Thank you!!!! God bless you.

👍🏽Especially about hiding snack in tampon box. I’m so glad I’m over the teenager years (we all should get a medal or millions of dollars for surviving) I was telling people I survived 13-14 then 15-16 then by 19 I survived teenage yrs and wait until you go through it. Those years my friends are the true test. I hid everything in my house at some point that I forgot where I hid things.. he knew where everything was from snooping. Thanks for sharing and hang in there. You will survive!😎

We all have a cold and last night I was so congested and achy that I couldn't remember how their bedtime story goes. So I pulled up the KZbin version and they fell asleep to that while I laid down and rested. I spent the whole time trying to convince myself that wasn't a horrid thing to do

Thank you so much for sharing this! Sometimes I feel like you can read my mind from afar because I have been taking extra 'me time' lately and I have been feeling a bit guilty for it. However, you are 100% right! I am a better wife, mother, and general human when I give myself permission to rest and recharge. I have talked to my friends about setting up a "support break" network. When one of us needs time away from the kids, another one of us will step up to baby sit, or go out with her while the husbands take the lead. No judgment. No guilt. Thank you again for being an honest voice for positive motherhood.
