Yeah honestly watching the replay back the guy in the north basically didn't leave his mountain until he had finished his t2 lab. WMDT was mvp for basically holding two lanes.

so why go solar if wind is min 5? max 10? isnt it average better than solar?

For economy, yeah, wind is better production, but if you are on your reclaim game solar is good for parking metal for later, particularly for cortex

On maps like koom and rosetta where the wind speed can technically go to 10 wind is more efficient yes. If you look beyond the wind speed it gets somewhat more complicated. Once you take other factors into consideration like the metal richness of the map and BP cost of E generator vs how much E it gives...some maps are more practical with solar. Koom is one of those.

Maybe should have begged for a Twitcher early in the game and make cheap T2 ? Instead of going T2 lab right away.
