I once found myself almost homeless and my friend let me sleep in his couch. I spent every day looking for work outside the house, and only went at the end of the night to eat something and sleep. I went out of my way to be out of his way in the house. When I found a job a month later, I gave him half of my first paycheck, and the rest used it to start saving for my own place. I left with a great thank you. We're still friends. Some people don't seem to understand the concept of gratitude and what a favor being done for you is.

@JamieM4704 жыл бұрын
She had the dog back when she owned her own home. It sounds to me like she went broke and lost her home because she was supporting the plaintiff for so long. She didn't have children, so that dog was family to her. You don't abandon your dog that you love (and they love you unconditionally and trust you & depend on you) when times get hard, unless times are so very hard that the dog will suffer. Even then you try to find them a good home. I think the only thing the defendant was truly guilty of was having a kind heart. She got used by her "friend" and railroaded by a money-grubbing vet.
