A visit with friends is always good for the spirit. Home comings with yarn and chocolate are very nice. But watching your pup sleeping so innocent and content is priceless! Take care dearie 😘

What beautiful countryside Lesley, and glad you had such a wonderful relaxing time with your friends. It’s a dream of mine to do a trip on one of those gorgeous longboats….

I'm so envious of your lovely weekend holiday! I feel the need for some blue skies and green grass. It's so gloomy here in the middle of the US (Missouri) and no sun in the foreseeable forecast.

Thank you for sharing your getaway with us. I hope that it was just what you needed. The pictures of the estate look lovely. Your yarn gifts are so pretty; you are very lucky to have such a generous family. Today, my knitting friends went to the Carolina Fiber Festival in Raleigh. It was lots of fun, a bit overwhelming, but it was fun spending the day squishing yarn and, I made a few purchases. I was restrained, though, because now that my eye is healing, I am allowed to get on a plane. So my Supervisor (aka, my husband) and I are going to the Netherlands and Belgium in two weeks. I plan to make a trip to Stephen & Penelope, and there will be yarn buying and tulips bulbs will be shipped home. Hope continue having a relaxed week. Cheers!

Hi Delores - glad your eye is healing and that you have been able to continue your trips. Well restrained at the Fibre Festival - have a wonderful time in the Netherlands and Belgium (don't forget Belgian chocolate, too - that's pretty good). Have a lovely trip and thanks for being here xx

My daughter had hand fasting as part of her wedding ceremony. It was a lovely exchange with their own vows at the tying of each cord. Another enjoyable podcast, old friends are the best.

Always great to see you I’m living vicariously through all my podcasters for the next 4-6 weeks I had rotator cuff surgery yesterday that has been a long time coming thanks to a misdiagnosis. So lots of recovery and tv time. Your trip looked fab you are so lucky to have such great friends. Stay well

Hi Lesley, spending time with friends is an important time. They know and understand you and if they are anything like my two best friends, also tell on when you are not being yourself!! We've been friends for well over thirty years. I've not managed to see one of my brothers for Christmas yet. We will do at some point. Have a fabulous weekend xxJane 🐑🌼

Hi Lesley, It;s a while since I caught up with your vlogs, I love a good catch up splurge. Liking the hair style & wow to your colourful glasses, they really suite you. What pattern is that wonderful multi coloured jumper please? It makes me smile when you show us your new yarn, but never the chocolates you got LOL. Take care x

Hi Nelly. Lovely to hear from you - I hope that you're well. The chocolates don't last long enough to make it to the vlog! The colourful sweater is a "Recalibrate", which I made during December, with an advent that I received. I thoroughly enjoyed making it. Thanks and take care xx
