There was a point in the game where Gukesh had 5 secs against Fabi's 1 min 5 secs. And Fabi had a dominating position. From there to getting Fabi to flag is insane time management by Gukesh!!!

If Agad did put the time stamps of each player after each move, wow, it would change so much the way we perceive the games shown. Even if there's no automatic way of doing it, you can just hire someone to do it and the person wouldn't take more than 30 minutes

Better, you could hire a coder to do a little program and it would be a permanent solution. Just extracting it (time stamps) from the database based on date or player's name.

Yeah though, it is harder to believe that Gukesh was able to make something like 20 moves on a 1 second increment. He had 8 seconds on his clock from like move 50 with Fabi using 2-3 seconds per move Gukesh used 3 seconds total. It wasn't even that Fabi managed his time poorly it was that Gukesh was basically inhumanly fast.

You know Gasai if all classical chess games were classical armageddon w/ auction (120min white vs black bid) there wouldn't be any draws, you can play odd number of games, and it's always fair regardless of colour. Here, you can indeed play single round robins. Anyway Agad, what's your opinion of FIDE's use of the terms 'slow rapid' & 'fast rapid' please? This has implications for Wesley So. #suggestion Afaik: (0,10) is blitz. [10,60) is rapid. [60,120) is unrated classical. [120,infinity) is rated classical. So what's 'slow rapid'? Try to check out the maths here - they said both 32.5min & 60min are 'slow rapid'. Does this strike you as odd? I see only 2 possible definitions for slow & fast rapid. Def 1 - slow rapid means unrated classical [60,120) and fast rapid is rapid [10,60). --> this means Wesley So is not classical WFRCC but slow rapid WFRCC while Hikaru is (fast) rapid WFRCC. Def 2 - slow rapid & fast rapid cut up rapid [10,60) into resp [35,60) and [10,35). --> 2 issues here. 60min is not in either of these. Also, 32.5 is in [10,35). So neither 60 nor 32.5 are slow rapid. Lol. Wesley So is again classical WFRCC while Hikaru is fast rapid WFRCC. Def3 --> Since 15+2=17 is fast rapid, [10,X) is fast rapid & [X,120) is slow rapid for some 17 < X < 32.5. like say X is some arbitrary number like X=20 or X=30. Lol yeah right!! Some Iranians say Alireza (and Mohammadreza?) Firouzja is a traitor to Iran. (Source: xbw4kx ) I have no idea if that's true (anyone have ideas?), but: Bobby Fischer would agree with me. What do Daniil & Hikaru have in common? Both betray their country for Magnus. Hikaru Nakamura is almost as evil as the Hikaru in Oshi no Ko. Magnus Carlsen is almost as evil as Light Yagami. T0 - Now, Daniil & Hikaru are traitors for Magnus but not Norway, which was never the villain. Magnus is the villain (but not a supervillain like Hans Niemann. cf Megamind). T1 - Hikaru Nakamura is a traitor to the US for BASELESSLY siding with Magnus Carlsen over fellow American Hans Niemann. There's an episode of American Dragon Jake Long where Jake is accidentally sold by h friends. Here, Hans is intentionally sold by h compatriot. (Hans is Jake. Rotwood is Magnus.) American Dragon Jake Long Meet American Traitor Hikaru Nakamura. They're both Americans of East Asian descent. Lol. T2 - Daniil Dubov is a traitor to Jews & Russians for siding with Magnus over fellow Jewish Russians Ian Nepomniachtchi & Sergey Karjakin in the 2021 WCC. T3 - Will you be surprised if Daniil & Hikaru change federations to Norway? T4 - Garry Kasparov cheated fellow Jew Judit Polgar in the 1994 Linares. This makes Garry T4.1 - a traitor to Jews since Judit is Jewish T4.2 - necessarily not GOAT / MTOAT because you can't be valedictorian if you cheated T4.3 - a mentor of Magnus Carlsen who similarly cheated Alireza Firouzja, Daniel Danya Naroditsky & Ian Nepo Nepomniachtchi. SAYNOTO2900 GOD BLESS AMERICA. T5 - Also some Americans or Philippine people / Filipinos / Filipinas are traitors if they don't consider Wesley So the REAL world champion for the period 2019Nov - 2023Mar. (Kidding...sort of.) - T5.1 - Or worse, they consider Wesley So a traitor for moving to the US when Eugene Torre supports the decision which was practically forced due to the corruption of Philippine chess president Prospero Pichay Jr who was somehow re-elected in 2022 July despite being convicted of graft in 2022 June. Probably the same reason Arianne Caoili (Levon Aronian's dead spouse) left the Philippines for Australia. Try telling Levon that Arianne was a traitor. - T5.2 - Oh also 1 person did tell me e didn't like Wesley So because of what Wesley So said to h bio mom Leny So. Leny So & Prospero Pichay are HUGE traitors to Philippine chess. F()K LENY SO. F()K PICHAY. Also Leny So said to Wesley So 'putang ina mo.' Wesley So's response: 'Kinda funny that.' LOL. - T5.3 - Which is the greater number? A - Filipinos / Filipinas who became interested in chess/960 soon after Wesley So won 2019 WFRCC? B - Japanese who became interested in chess/960 soon after Hikaru Nakamura, who NEVER WON A CHESS960 GAME IN 45+15=60 MINUTES, won 2022 WFRCC? Last I checked 1 > 0 Source: 0J3K-3_xCzY . . . . . P.S. 2nd: magnus cheats anish in round 7 superbet blitz --> 3:22:36 in 8gw7XDq87C4 #suggestion 2016 WCC - This is relevant to the 2023 WCC. Please agad cover the other decisive game of the Sergey Karjakin vs Magnus Carlsen 2016 WCC #suggestion What happened is that Magnus lost to Sergey AS WHITE in Game 8 but then compensated for a white loss with A WHITE WIN in Game 10. This is what happened to Liren Ding & Nepo for Games 2 & 4 of 2023 WCC. Why doesn't a drawn match go to the player w/ more black wins (if any) s.t. Sergey Karjakin not Magnus Carlsen is 2016 WCC & Ian Nepomniachtchi not Liren Ding is 2023 WCC? This has happened BEFORE! 1 2022 Accentus Chess960 Vincent Keymer and Nodirbek Abdusattorov both finished with 5.0/7 and tied first. However, as Keymer won more games with Black, he won the tournament on tiebreak. 2 1980 - 1981 candidates tournament 'When the quarterfinal between Portisch and Spassky was tied after 14 games, Portisch was declared the winner because he had won more games with Black.' Actually maybe cover the only 2 decisive games here if not already? #suggestion 3 1983-1984 candidates tournament It wasn't repeated! The premise was the same! Hübner had more black wins than Smyslov before tiebreaks. After tiebreaks were tied, a ROULETTE determined Symslov won!! Actually maybe cover the only 2 decisive games here if not already? #suggestion --- Other suggestions in women's chess A - Was Kg6 in Dina's 1st GM slaying game in Reykjavik sexism? Like looking down on Dina? B - Anna Cramling's dad beats Mikhail Tal. #suggestion C - Philippine women's chess #suggestion - WGM Janelle Frayna, the female Wesley So, upset Georgian GM (really GM not just WGM) Bela Khotenashvili at the 2022 world blitz. There's a 13-move UNDERPROMOTION puzzle here. [Variant "From Position"] [FEN "6k1/6b1/1p1P3p/6pP/3pPpP1/p2NqP2/6K1/5Q2"] 1. Qd1 a2 2. Qb3+ Kf8 3. d7 Qe2+ 4. Nf2 Ke7 5. Qd5 Kd8 6. Qe6 Bf6 7. @@thedumbestmedicoever4141 Good question. Yes and this is why: Bobby Fischer would agree with everything here. Dr Seuss: 'Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.' NNT: 'A single person with courage can bring down a collective composed of wimps.' I'm a dual citizen of Hong Kong & the Philippines, love 9LX and hate chess. Thus you can imagine how much I have bias for the US, Wesley So, Bobby Fischer & Hans Niemann and bias against FIDE, Magnus Carlsen, Garry Kasparov & Hikaru Nakamura right? SAYNOTO2900 GOD BLESS AMERICA. You know Gasai how chess became more popular in the US, India & Norway because of when resp Bobby Fischer, Vishy & Magnus became WCC's? It's like that for me when Wesley So became WFRCC. Imagine how I feel that people are praising Magnus, Garry & Hikaru over Wesley So, Bobby Fischer & Hans Niemann when Magnus & Garry are cheaters and when Magnus & Hikaru are fake world champions and baseless accusers. The people are not wrong. I am educating them. The ones who are wrong are FIDE, Garry, Magnus & Hikaru. It's like how Sergey Karjakin is Crimean and pro-Putin. Is that a coincidence? (Look up 'ugmopp'.) Or, would you be surprised if a Japanese person were a 'weeb'? But it's not largely about nationality. 1 - Wesley So isn't even Philippine anymore. 2 - I don't even speak Philippine. 3 - I don't say Bong Villamayor, Daniel Quizon or Janelle Frayna are better or more talented than Magnus. 4 - If it were Nepo instead of Wesley So, then I'd say Nepo rules, and Magnus sucks (w/c is true since Nepo beat Magnus in classical & rapid 9LX). I guess I wouldn't be so obsessed w/ Nepo though. Lol. 5 - The facts that Wesley So 5A - is American, like Bobby Fischer 5B - is, like Bobby, friends with both Eugene Torre & Lotis Key 5C - like Bobby and me, loves 9LX & hates chess. 5D - like me, looks up, to Bobby as GOAT / MTOAT further fuel my bias. (FYI : Hikaru Nakamura, a US traitor for siding with Magnus over Hans, doesn't satisfy any of 5B, 5C or 5D.) . . . . . P.S. Please help get Wesley So on Lex Fridman's podcast. @@thedumbestmedicoever4141 2022 WFRCC: Magnus, Hikaru & FIDE cheated Wesley So, who should've been 2020, 2022 & 2024 candidates wildcard because Wesley So won in classical games (45+15=60) while Hikaru won in rapid games (25+5+2.5=32.5min). Source: p1w4Rr-1fL --- That's the summary. The ff is the long version. --- 2 questions Q1 Why isn't it unfair to Wesley So that FIDE lowered the WFRCC time controls from 60min in 2019 to 32.5min in 2022 ( w/o changing the name of course to 'rapid WFRCC'. if they change the name, then there's no problem ) considering the ff things? --- Thing1 In the 2019 WFRCC, Hikaru & Magnus did better in 15+2=17min games than 60min games. Wesley So did better in vice-versa. --- Thing2 Afaik - (0min,10min) = blitz - [10min,60min) = rapid - [60min,120min) = classical but unrated for 2200+ players. - [120min,infinity) = classical Hence, Wesley So should be the CLASSICAL WFRCC and then Hikaru is the rapid WFRCC. Wesley So beat Magnus 3x CLASSICAL games in a row HUMAN VS HUMAN, no computer prep! The last time this happened was Vishy Anand vs Alexei Shirov in 2000 FIDE classical WCC! (Not to be confused w/ 2000 PCA classical WCC where Garry cheated Alexei.) --- Thing3 Yet for some reason FIDE insists that both 32.5min & 60min are 'slow rapid' while 17min is 'fast rapid'. They didn't even define these terms. Check out the maths here: I see only 2 reasonable definitions for slow & fast rapid. -Def1 - Slow rapid means unrated classical [60,120) & fast rapid is rapid [10,60). This means: - There's no classical WFRCC. - Wesley So is slow rapid WFRCC. - Hikaru is fast rapid WFRCC. - Hence, Hikaru is NOT a successor of Wesley So. -Def2 - Fast rapid & slow rapid cut up rapid [10,60) into resp [10,35) and [35,60). 2 issues here: - 60min is not in either of these intervals. - Also, 32.5 is in [10,35). So neither 60 nor 32.5 are slow rapid. Lol. This means: - There's no slow rapid WFRCC. - Wesley So is classical WFRCC. - Hikaru is rapid WFRCC, specifically fast rapid WFRCC. - Hence, again, Hikaru is NOT a successor of Wesley So. - Def3 - The definitions must be: Since 15+2=17 is fast rapid, we must have - [10,X) fast rapid & - [X,120) slow rapid, for some 17 < X < 32.5. Like say X is some arbitrary number like X=20 or X=30. Lol yeah right!! --- Thing4 Conclusion: I believe the 2022 WFRCC was a conspiracy to get Hikaru / Magnus to win in parallel w/ the Hans Niemann situation. Think about this: - Magnus quits the 2022 Sinquefield Cup. 1 day later, Hans Niemann, an American rival of Magnus, is harmed in another tournament, the 2022 CGC in that Hans is removed! - Magnus quits the 2023 WCC. 1 month later, Wesley So, an American rival of Magnus, is harmed in another tournament, the 2022 WFRCC in that the time controls are reduced w/o changing the name! I hardly believe this is a coincidence. I bet Magnus even directed (or conspired w/) FIDE to remove (and hence cheat) Sergey (not American but still Jewish like Hans & Bobby) from the 2022 candidates. Sergey's replacement Liren even cited the ff as role models: Magnus, Garry & Veselin instead of Wesley, Bobby & Vlad ( as described in FlNsFKeq-iE ). Of course there's no conspiracy at all if FIDE just says 'Ok Wesley So is classical WFRCC & Hikaru is rapid WFRCC. Sorry for the confusion!' For chess: The ability to play chess is the sign of a gentleman. The ability to play chess well is the sign of a wasted life. For 9LX: The ability to play 9LX is the sign of a gentleman or a lady. The ability to play 9LX well is the sign that you're not Magnus Carlsen. LOL!!!! --- Q2 Consequently, why shouldn't Wesley So have been a wildcard in 2020, 2022 or 2024 candidates as the 2019 WFRCC winner considering -Fabi was a wildcard in the 2019 WFRCC quarter-finals as the 2018 WCC runner-up, not by FRC virtue -Hikaru & Magnus were 2019 WFRCC quarter & semi-finals wildcards, by FRC virtue for the 2018 unofficial WFRCC but lol the 2018 game itself was obviously for chess virtue ? Well I suppose there's that being good at chess means you'll be good at 9LX but not vice-versa (unless you're Magnus lol)... --- P.S. Wesley So on Lex Fridman xcdhgq P.P.S. Interview while imprisoned p1w4Rr-1Uk Pablo Mercado: So what is your advice to the Filipino chess players? Uncle Bobby Fischer: My advice is to give up chess and take up Fischer Random. - 2004Oct11, 15 years before nephew Wesley So became the inaugural WFRCC in CLASSICAL time controls.
