When she found out she was upset and told me if I ever needed her financially or if I ever needed to move back in with her it didn’t matter how old I was she’ll always be in my corner. I would never want to do that but at least I know I have a loving mother that will help me when I’m really in need. So just because an adult has to Temporarily move back in with their parents doesn’t make them less than anybody else. Sometimes people fall on hard times and need help I don’t see the issue with that.

About the roach thing- My grandmother (may she Rest In Peace) lived in a low-income building in Far Rockaway, and she was super clean and OCD about her little apartment. There still were roaches because it was a building issue. Sometimes it's not the person, but their environment. Treating a house is different than treating a building or several connected units for roach (or other insect) infestations.
@paige41282 жыл бұрын
Too true! I moved into a spankin brand new apt, freshly painted, etc., and it STILL had roaches due to the building in San Francisco. That poor manager tried everything short of dynamiting the unit😂. He was such a nice guy, but at the end of the day I was out of there in one month. I just can’t live with roaches.

I feel terrible for her son. I won't lie, I have some pretty serious issues, but I am *so* grateful to jy son for EVERYTHING he does to help me. We had to put down our cat 3 days ago. Mango was 19, and my Companion Animal. He had a fabulous life, and a beautiful crossing., and I couldn't have done it without my son's help. The private cremation, along with the engraving on his urn was freaking expensive, not to mention the weekend after hours rates (the people were amazing, though, no complaints, there!). My son paid for everything, but my sister and I are reimbursing him half the cost because I brought him up to not be a BUM, by leading by example! He insists on paying my phone bill, but I buy that amount in groceries, and make dinner for he, his gf, his younger bro & his yb's fiance once a week, and I hope it offsets the cost a bit. I always make a pie or cheesecake, too, lol! Sorry for babbling, I'm trying to get used to him not sitting next to me as I type 😔

It seems like the judge was really advocating for the mom just because she was "his mom". No ma'am. Toxic is toxic I don't care who it is. I think he's doing the right thing by handling his mom from a distance because until she does some self-work and realizes that she's a part of the problem their relationship will always be toxic. Create boundaries and stand on them I don't care who it is. You can't repair a relationship with someone who feels like nothing they do is wrong and it's not their fault, parents included.
@phlushphish7932 жыл бұрын
Yeh. My friend had to go to marriage counseling. He said the counselor told him a relationship is a bridge both parties build from their side to meet. You can do all you can for your side, hang big signs & blinking lights on it, etc. But if the other party doesn't build their half, it's still just 1/2 a bridge.

And the girlfriend did ZERO wrong. So far, I haven't heard 1 thing in the case that was her fault. The lady kept abusing her and she kept accepting it. It was the boyfriend who finally called the cops and encouraged her to get the protection order. So it's odd you all are putting blame on the gf when she literally did zero wrong in this case. She was just there telling her side of the story. She was the victim of everything. Y'all want her to be quiet so she can't share her story of abuse??? lol Yall are odd asf. Watch the case... They tried to replace her cart and was willing to replace her cart with the exact same cart. They weren't going to buy something extra extensive for someone who was just assaulting them. They wanted nothing to do with her after things blew up and had a protection order out against her, so was doing everything through the cops. They needed a picture of the cart to do an exact replacement, but the cops wouldn't give them a picture. So they picked any cart. And... she never had a receipt for her cart for them to give her the money for it. It wasn't until way after everything blew up that she bought another cart and claimed the cart cost $60. This was way after the restraining order and them seizing contact with her. Y'all forgetting all of the details and nick picking what you remember to support the abusive mother. It's obvious the mother is crazy, especially assaulting the girl several times in front of people for zero reasons. She deserved everything she got, and she should have sat in jail for a few days. It sounds like she's turning old and senile. And sounds like they can afford a hotel/motel, but why waste the money when family was near... family that they took time off and stayed with before, while she was sick, so they can take care of her? It can be true that she's nasty with roaches in her home. It didn't sound like they brought all of their stuff with them, only a few things. So not hard to clean up a room and stay in it for a few weeks, until their home is situated.
@flo-dd5sw2 жыл бұрын
You all don't listen. They didn't steal it in the first place. They were trying to be peacekeepers by replacing something they weren't responsible for. They had no idea how much hers costed which was a courtesy buy. It must be a cold day in hell when family cannot go to a family member's home....some of us are close. The mother invited them there btw. The mother assaulted that lady twice as she stated she didn't like her. The mother may be suffering with a jealousy problem, mental issue, or just may be nasty anyway.
