I have a c30 d4 auto in passion red, and have it washed on a regular basis at the local hand wash by the polish/ Albanian guys they do a great job inside and out for £12, it's a bargain, love the car lots of power, and the sound system is amazing.

Nice clean, I personally use an APC all over the car from a pump spray to loosen the road grime before jet washing, helps a ton, the do a prewash snow foam and then two bucket method.

No way is that 4 years worth of dirt. Haven't washed mine in a week and it's absolutely rank! 4 years would surely see some sort of growth or moss ect!

dude, I like the hot water tap... I can't think other than washing a car "WHY" you would need a hot tap, if I could get one routed to to my one that would be cool, I just had my basement done and there is dry wall up now where the garage tap is, so it's not gonna be easy to do that, unless of course I change the single cold tap to a single hot tap.... HMMMM, let me think about it, damn you Torque Steer for giving me ideas above my station !

Alan is not OCD. At least it's got less scratches from the auto wash. Car Cleaning Guru had a hot one of these. He's from your neck of the woods. I bet the inside wasn't much better! ?

When I clay I use a x pattern then a + over it. It seems to hit the contamination from every possible angle.

I had the 1.6 diesel R design in red, not the best, was ok but often felt very underpowered. I traded it in for a Rebel Blue mk2 with the 2.0 petrol engine. Sooooo much better to drive!

I've got one, and the exhaust tip is pretty much so dirty it can't be cleaned up...although i won't give up trying. Just got to wait for it to be finished by the garage,so far it's ten working days I've waited just for a remap -_-

I've got the same c30 but pre facelift , same color (passion red) and R Design . my car looks almost even better after i cleaned it. Its 11 years old now but under 84000 kilometers on it. I love this car sooooo much, but the 1.6 engine is not really that powerfull :D
