I agree. She’s already achieved so much in the last couple years. It’s not easy getting the pro card, yet she did it after only a few competitions. The rest of her journey is refining her physique, tweaking her poses and performance routine, maybe getting an assist from experienced coaches. Hundreds of bodybuilders never win anything. It’s a tough sport, and being grateful for the opportunities is important. She’s got a great attitude. Hopefully, she will continue as she is my favorite. I used to watch only men’s bodybuilding. The women’s comps were not that great back in the 80’s and early 90’s.

Great work on your routine! I can't wait to see you build on this experience, you are still new to the sport, being a pro ect - - keep putting in the work . There are so many incredible athletes out there - you are competing wit the best! I totally understand needing a crazy goal, I just got into running and have decided I want to be elite at it. =P

If you want be an elite runner, you need a pro coach and an experienced sports nutritionist as well as a sports physical therapist. Elite runners are no joke. The competitiveness between elite runners is extremely high. You have to dial in everything from training, diet, rest, recovery, mindset, etc. not one elite runner does everything him or herself. I’ve worked with high level athletes before, and everything they do every single day is towards achieving whatever their goal is. Can’t really balance other aspects of life very well when the goal is always forefront in their minds.

I am going to give myself 1-2 years to get pretty damn good and see what discipline I am best at (half marathon, full, trail, mountain running ultra ECT) and take it from there. I have just made a move to step down from work to do so. I have done bodybuilding prep several times and my favorite part was the amount of training and dialing everything in- I actually really did not enjoy the show but I loved the crazy amounts of cardio and training - I would either run or bike outside. I love having insanely challenging , demanding, goals , it keeps me excited to wake up . When I have a goal I am a freakkn' robot. What types of athletes s did you work with?

@@lizzypicardi Yes, I don’t compete anymore either. I competed back in my late 20’s. It’s been 20 years now just powerlifting for myself. I also ran a bit and did a marathon. However, I have very flat feet, so running is not my forte.

I’m not an expert judge, but you’re definitely making improvements since the last time you put a competition video out. As far as I could tell you Rocked the House. Keep your head up, keep kicking ass, you’re doing great things here. You probably deserved to place higher, but sh!t happens… keep chipping away.

Deserving to place higher is not good thinking in bodybuilding comps. Judging is very subjective, so the only thing you can do is improve yourself every time regardless of placing. An ex boss of mine became a bodybuilder several years ago. She has now been to Ms. Olympia comps several times. But it takes years of dedication, and having the mindset of improving every time. She makes her business coaching up and coming bodybuilders for every women’s category, bikini, fitness, and wellness.

Kristin, your physique showed a lot of improvements. You're heading in the right direction. Loved the suite you were wearing. In your routine, I don't know if it was just camera angles, but a lot of your routine was on the floor, and facing the audience. This low body position and orientation toward the audience diminishes your bodies exposure to judges and audience. Maybe more angled approach to low moves, limited low moves a little more dance moves. Just an oppionion. Love your energy, personality, commitment, and honesty. Wishing continued growth and success.

I thought you looked GREAT and i love the green just remember Ronnie Colman would place 14th all the time and thought of giving up and he became 8 times Mr Olympia you just need to drink Vodka and Coffee the night before the competition after that he won all the time.

He definitely looks like you were in the top half. But we all know that there are always politics involved in competing so it doesn’t always have to do with who has the best physique unfortunately. @Sportdiva7 i wouldn't call this politics. difference in the separation and dryness, esp in bottom half. Routine wise, it's more subjective, but when you watch someone like Tiffany, she starts with a bang and stays high energy. I got feedback about this on my routine at the O too. This is also where I struggle. I feel like I KILL it, but compared to the others, it's slow or lacks smooth transitions, etc. This is a fantastic start! I got second to last in my second show and went on to win ToPro later that season. Sometimes you just gotta get that feedback, apply and move forward! I know you will make your way to the Olympia soon! 🙌🏾🙌🏾

I know your not training for Silver medal. You want to feel you've trained hard enough for gold. Get back up and train even hard and win lose you know you did your very best. Does the fact that you are competing against other competitors who do use steroids while you are trying to remain natural play a factor in your placement? I can only imagine that is hard to deal with.

Don't eat oreos and put flavored sauces with added sugar and fats on your food. That was around 3/4 of a serving of rice or 2 servings of vegetables instead. Especially while cutting. Wasted calories.
