Doing video content is something I want to try in an effort to yank myself out of my comfort zone and share my story + expertise to build community and help someone as well as myself. My biggest apprehension - hence me dragging my feet on starting where I am - is that people won’t engage or that I’ll do it “wrong”. Your videos are so great and your openness is so encouraging for me so I’m going to spend this week identifying some topics that I can dive into and start strategizing my official channel debut. Thanks so much, Erin!

The fact you gave different forms of videos to post really gave the biggest push for me. When I tell you Iiterallt have recorded so much content and just haven't put it out due to me thinking "Am I late to the game?" "am I going to be relatable" "do I look like the next person". I feel like sometimes I get stuck in my head trying to keep up with the "Aesthetic" of things. Watching this video just gave me so much reassurance.

I’m starting! The fact of worrying about pumping out 3-4 videos a day had me stressed. Uploading quality over quantity resonated with me the most. Thank you for sharing this information and encouraging content! 💛

Practice resonated with me, I used to beat myself up for not being able to record a video in one take, which produced a cycle of me recording videos but not editing and then of course not posting…i wanted to start last year, but i had trouble with editing so i lowkey threw in the towel…but as someone that went to school for film and acting, (so I’d assume I’d be able to easily do these things) I’m humbled to be reminded, practice! Content creation is whole other gal, I have to put in the hours to study her… so the practice def! oh and I’m STARTING! Thanks Erin! Appreciate you and your wisdom.

I finally took the advise and started my channel last week. Those first video were very complicated todo and post but I'm enjoying this journey soo much so it's worth it. I thinks the most complicated thing for me to do will be to stay consistent and patient while the channel is growing slowly. Tell me guys if you're struggling with that too and what you're doing. Thanks a lot for your tips as always Erin 🥰🥰❤

I feel the same way the slow growth is so painful and agonizing and it’s hard when you compare to others that get there so much quicker you gotta pick your self out of the hole every once in a while 💓💓

Tip that resonates the most: upload as frequent as you can upload quality content, practice speaking / articulating my thoughts, and what you said about the thumbnails & titles😂 my thumbnails definitely look like every other vlog girls’ thumbnail.. I need to switch it up and make them more appealing … Soooo much great info in this vid THANK YOU Erin 💕

I was so scared to start because I came in with zero knowledge KZbin wise but then I realized I've been a viewer for so many years I know what I like to see so I went from that perspective and show what I love and hope others love it as much as I love to create!

Probably one of the only videos that gave very practical tips on growing a KZbin channel! So helpful! The one tip that resonated with me the most is to layer and not niche!! For so long I thought I had to just focus on fashion on my channel because that’s what was getting the most views but I just now started to branch out and make other videos on different topics!

I just started literally yesterday! I committed to uploading weekly for a year no matter what happens which has actually taken some pressure off! Thanks for the great info

Thank you , I needed this. I been wanting to start my channel for years and I finally did 2 weeks ago ; it has not been easy. Idk why I thought I had it all figured out but it has been a learning experience walking with God and doing the unfamiliar work . I have to constantly remind myself that know one just starting at something is an expert . Thank you again Erin
