That’s really good to know, thank you. Like I say, the image quality on the pocket 3 is fantastic, especially when shooting with the flat colour profile. An improvement to the audio and the ability to connect an external mic would make the pocket 3 even better.

Glad you reviewed this Leonard! Was also looking at the Pocket 3 before it went on general sale. Ended up buying the insta360 Go3 a month ago. Great for capturing stuff on my cycling commute. If I get any worthy footage might do something with it too.

I’m also testing the Go3 and it’s a great camera but it’s limited 1440p to get the horizon levelling feature. That’s the benefit of a mechanical gimbal. Just goes to show that the perfect camera is still the goal.

We've had a Dji Pocket 2 for for a couple of years and still seemingly beats this hands down. Great video as always though and nice to see such an hinest review..

Love the camera by two. Problem is on playback I hear a clicking sound from using the mode button to turn the camera. It's kind of annoying to hear click click. So the only thing I can think of is maybe the mic is picking up the click. But I don't want to mess with the volume cuz it'll get weak. Anybody notices and how can I fix this

Unfortunately I think the clicking sound that you are hearing is the sound of the mode button being presse. Have you tried changing it using the mobile app instead?

Hi Leonard, an interesting vid. 2 questions if I may: What is this "B roll" I hear people talking about as though we all know? What sort of software do you use for post production?

B-roll (or cut aways) are the shots that illustrate what a person is talking about (that’s the A-roll) I personally use Final Cut Pro X but there are loads of free apps such as iMovie and Moviemaker.

The best all rounder has to be the DJI Osmo Action 3 or 4.

Sadly, that is not possible. There is no feature to re-set the centre.
