Lovely card! I like your videos and that you express yourself so well and share your strengths and what you are learning! I struggle with each new card I design and feel so confident once I like the design and finally get a result I am happy with (although I always see something to improve upon!)

Thank you so much, Dorothy! I learn new things with each project and love to share. Keep on creating, it's good for the soul!

This is beautiful Amber. Your Copic colouring is amazing. I too am still trying to learn how to master the skill of Copic colouring and this is very helpful. Pinned it for reference. Thank you for sharing this.

Thanks Teresa! I'm glad it was helpful. I'm going to keep doing Copic video tutorials with small bites of tips in them. Trying to keep in any "mistakes" and the fix so that others can learn as I learn.

Great, I will look forward to seeing them!

You color so beautifully! Thank you so much for the tips. You basically teach the same way I was taught in a Copic class at Scrapbook Expo and it was good to get the reminders. Thank you :) Hugs...Janie

Nice! This is very eye-catching, and makes me even more sure that building a background out of small stamps is one of the next techniques I want to play with 😀

I just recently got into copics myself. I took Sandy Allnock’s online copic jumpstart class and it was a game changer for me! Oh and like you, I struggle with my embellishment placement as well. I enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!

Ooh, wasn't Sandy's class great Anna?!? I loved it. Totally changed how I color and how I purchase markers.

Hey Amber....yes, I struggle with using my Copics but in saying that, I also need more practice. I can't believe the smooth 'streakless' blending you achieved on those big coffee mugs, which in my limited experience I have found that the larger the images are, the more difficult it is to avoid those brushstroke lines. By the way, that was a great tip holding the marker more at a horizontal angle for smoother blends. Love the card and, placing the sentiment inside the mug was the perfect touch. As always, TFS, and until next time....

Thanks! Yes, it definitely takes some trial and error. Finding the right paper for your technique, dark to light, light to dark, etc. I really didn't become comfortable until I took an in person class. If an in person class isn't available to you, give @sandyallnock Copic Jumpstart class a go. It's online and self-paced. You can find it at art-classes.com Great class!!

Hi. I just found your channel. I love the colors and coloring on this card. I’m wondering how you became an Altenew educator, and where do you teach? I’d love to know what that entails. I subbed and can’t wait to see more.

dgmlmax Hello! Thanks so much! I teach classes at Stamp Fever in Orange, CA. My goal for 2019 is to provide some online classes. I applied for AECP through Altenew’s website. You can find more info here altenew.com/pages/altenew-educator-certification-program I definitely encourage you to check it out. It’s an amazing program and I’ve learned so much along the way.
