This video shows my brother's hands after he died.
Before I worked on addiction, I created a project and exhibition on the end of life called A Graceful Death and trained as a soul midwife, a holistic end of life companion offering spiritual and emotional support to those facing death.
One of the people I sat with in 2016 was my youngest brother Dominic. Dom was a Catholic priest. We agreed that when he was actively dying, I would go and stay with him in the hospice in Edinburgh. I describe how it is to be sitting with a dying person.
The beginning photo is my daughter Lexi with her baby Geroge, saying goodbye. The end photo is my portrait of Dom for the A Graceful Death exhibition of which he was a part.
RIP Father Dominic Rolls. We love you.
