Hypesquad was something I expected to be used by Discord quite often to make more people use it for more than just communication. It didn't pay the bills so they silently forgot about it.

i was one of the people who were in the original hypesquad. you had to send an email to discord describing what made you hype about their new platform, then after some time you might get the golden hypesquad badge. i don't really know why this was dropped in favour of the houses or if these emails were ever even read by real people but this original system was much better in my opinion.

Honestly I was worried for a moment that the OG Hypequad badge would be removed. They promised us personally that the badge stays for everyone but the server gets deleted. Before, it you left the server the badge would be automatically removed and you couldn't rejoin unless invited by a Dev.

Yes I really just hope it becomes unobtainable rather then completely removed, just like other unobtainable badges like early supporter or server partner badge, or the bug hunter badges (although you can still get them, it was more likely to get them in the teaser server program) now it’s even more impossible to get it especially if you don’t understand finding vulnerabilities bug in who they’re partnered with, which is hackerone

My oppinion: The account recovery screen should ONLY be made available to the user in an Email regarding changes to their account. This means that you wouldn't be able to get the recovery screen for a specific account unless Discord generates a unique URL when changes are made to the account. This way, you wouldn't be able to just enter someone's Email and get a recovery screen. The Email would always go to the original Email if the Email is being changed.

The ad video quest will still play if you resize the Discord window to its smallest size. Alternatively, you can use the Windows Peek function on the taskbar and hover over the preview to overlap the Discord screen. This is useful if you're watching videos or doing something that doesn't require user input. Don't forget to mute the ad quest and let it play. I haven't tried using the browser feature, like the OBS browser, to see if it still plays when not focused, but it might work. There could also be other solutions.

You can also speed up the video using the video controls options in your browser and it will still work. I'm not sure how you would do this, but you could probably make it way faster than the browser would let you to complete it in a second or so.
