I actually like them better than the bk, I do have the bk just not the holiday ones because I have all 3 of them already, I can't explain it but these are the best I've ever tried. Well worth the money.

For the foundation, would natural or synthetic bristles work better in general? my main wish is to not have streaks when applying liquid foundation :)

Basically, what I feel is the best for a liquid foundation is what a few brands have done which is a combination of natural and synthetic. Synthetic soaks it in less but natural spreads it a bit better. If you’re going to use synthetic for foundation application I prefer a kind of flattened kabuki head like in this one.

I agree with everything you said about these brushes, they are wonderful. Mine arrived yesterday (bought a 2nd set to gift.) For those wondering about the thicker handles, I adjusted to them quickly, and once I did, I prefer them over my other brushes. The shape and size really work well to grip at the right angle for buffing. Softest brushes I own, I love them.

Hi Rebecca! Thank you for the review and your repeated comment on the thick handle lol I had no intention of buying anything during this holiday season ( for personal and budget reasons) let alone brushes. Anyway you convinced me - I’m getting them and finally I can use your code - pretty sure it works from Canada with Beautylish. I usually wear stick foundation but I’m sure that big one will do a great job. I’ve seen a few ppl mention the handle size - how did they feel? I actually do prefer these to his regular synthetic. I liked the synthetic he just did in the white handles but these are softer and spread everything so beautifully

It has been forever in a day since I’ve held a real techniques brush but, to me, this handle feels very substantial. It is a nice weight and it did not hurt my arthritis. Plus I have very small hands and it was very comfortable

Let me start with saying i adore Wayne Goss and have most of his brushes. I ordered this set and received it yesterday... they are so light weight that they felt like it cheapened the product... idk if it's just me or what but as beautiful as they are, I was a bit disappointed

I have several Wayne Goss brushes that I really like but these are kind of bulky and unwieldy plus they look like make up finger prints would be a constant problem with that hard shiny surfaces. Unfortunately I’ll have to pass.
