I love my XSR900, but I don't think anyone can deny that Ducati makes one of the sexiest bikes there are. Never had the plesure to ride one except for a 950 Monster. For me the scariest this of owning a Ducati would be reliability and cost of ownership. I find that really good for my Yamaha.

For me it’s been great so far! Only has 5,500 miles though, so time will tell.

People dont understand that its all about whight power ratio, an mt10 will always suck more handlewise than an mt09 or your bike

I have a ‘23 SF V4S and a ‘23 BMW M1000R, and not in the same class as the MT10. I owned a ‘22 ZH2 as well and loved it, but it isn’t in the same class either.

Imo get the bike you want. Power will only matter in a straight line. Handling is mostly up to rider anyway.

I have wondered why you run the pillion seat instead of the seat cowl. From what I understand Ducati is supposed to send you home with both the pillion and the cowl when you purchase it new.

I definitely like the look of the cowl better, but I bought used so I only have the seat. Will probably purchase one eventually!

The MT-10 is a great performer and does OK in its own class, but it's just an ugly bike IMO 🤷‍♂ Oh, and about the only sound I prefer over that V4 sound, is the classic Ducati L-twin thump 😎
