In my opinion their new sound is too shallow and waaay too POP'y. They are starting so sound like a bland mediocre pop band. I can totally get that opinion based off some of the songs from Broken Machine, but I feel like with their new EP and based on this upcoming album they’ve really been coming into their own. As much as I adore their first album, it has a lot of muse-y sound and it feels like they’ve been moving away from that and defining themselves more as they’ve been releasing new music. Btw, I’ve also been here since their first album! I remember hearing trip switch on the radio years and years ago and I’ve been a huge fan ever since
