The battery isn't better. The screen is also less responsive. Auto dimming display, ability to respond to text messages and customizable widgets are better though.

What kind of interoperability is there with other activity trackers? I basically want to know if it can feed workouts into NikePlus, Runkeeper and/or Apple Health. I kind of assume it feeds into the Health app but that's no use for Nike because they don't like interoperability. Oh, and controlling music/podcasts on the phone (Overcast FM), that's pretty much the two things I would miss most from the Watch. I've had an Apple Watch for 4/5 years, it'll cost me £160 to change the battery at this point and I'm considering this as its replacement. I'm most inclined towards to the idea of not having to charge it literally every day but I don't want to lose connection to all the running apps I've used since 2009. I'm probably going to retire my NikePlus account within the next year, once I reach the Black run level, I'll die long before I can reach the final level so I'll be happy to sack it off at that point.

Indeed on the website it mentions : Sync and manage your fitness data seamlessly across Apple Health, Google Health Connect and Strava . This must be available at a later stage possibly at the time of sale, since we have pre release units this is not presently available, at least in our unit .

@@igyaan Hmm, probably too much to expect Nike+ integration. I assume media controls are just limited to what's already playing on the phone in that case. Not a dealbreaker. Maybe there's some hack involving shortcuts that can be used to activate specific media applications. I might take a punt on it and just use the Apple Watch for workouts until I cut Nike out of the dependency chain.

My og watch pro's is facing ghost touch & activity tracking issues after it got wet in rain and SC denied replacement citing water damage isn't covered. I usually wore it 24x7...even when bathing before that for 6 months of using but this did not happen. The companion app and the watch disconnect when out of range and has to be reconnected manually that too needs internet to login. The companion app is pure crap and watch's experience is also disappointing. They never cared to fix these.

According to Nothing, you already have the charging pins with a nickel finish. The buckle is unknown. In my case, this being in contact with the epidermis of the wrist, I had a rather unpleasant allergic reaction. All this combined with the heat and sweat of the summer.
