The battery life is pretty bad on them. I'm tempted, but the missing features for non-Galaxy phone users, no high resolution codec options for non-Galaxy users, and bad battery life turn me off.

A note on battery life for the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, without noise canceling on I believe they get 8 hours! I actually don't use noise canceling except when I'm on a plane or really loud coffee shop.

Exactly. I'm using AirPods Pro 2 though. The battery without ANC is great, but I'd prefer to turn on noise control because the sound around me feels very muffled if I don't. I will turn on either Transparency, adaptive, or noise cancellation.

Great video. But you didn't mention that the AirPod PRO 2 has pressure balancing, so that you don't feel increased pressure in your ears. I am very sensitive to this and the pressure balancing is the only reason I can use in ear buds

I’m glad you said this as I suffer from this too. It took me quite a few weeks to adapt even to the pro 2s but it’s ok now. Oddly if I’m hungover I can’t go near the ANC 😂

After doing the sound test with nothing ear 2 and then playing with the EQ, the Ear 2 sound was different in a night and day way to get better. Make sure you do the ear test that is in the app. really brought out the shine in the headphones. Sounded WAY BETTER than airpods pro 2

Buds2pro are excellent. Sound is great. Light, wear lengthy periods, connectivity. Only negative is the ear seal could be better, which would enhance anc. My purpose is wireless sound quality, so very pleased.

I lost my Samsung buds pro in my Garden in late evening and could not locate it due to the bad light and dark color buds not really helping in the situation. There were overnight heavy rains and I managed to fetch it only the next morning. To my surprise though the battery was drained out, the bud just worked after drying them for a day(to be on the safe side) and then charging them.

Nothing are doing pretty well. If they considered a high level version of their phone and kept the price reasonable, I'd consider their next phone instead of the next Samsung as the s24 ultra isn't sounding too great.

I honestly prefer the airpods gen 3 over the pro. The ear tip never fit quite right so the sound was never great. Took em back saved some money. I recently got a s24 ultra so i got the galaxy buds 2 pro. Definitely way better. I do like the transparency mode on samsung they have a tuned mode for your ears. You have to adjust the device over a few test to the profile you like best. It makes a huge difference.

As a Nothing Ear 2 user, i can say that The Ear 2's are definitely better than the Airpods. Of couree, you have to do the ear test for it to actually sound so rich. Without it, it will sound meh. And i absolutely love em, better than anything i had before.

I have both Buds 2 Pro and Airpods Pro 2. The sound quality is much better on the Buds 2 Pro, I feel the Airpods Pro 2 lacks deep bass, and even with eq it feels driver and enclosure limited. The Buds 2 Pro hits really deep bass. And also the vocals sound a bit better too. However, the controls are much better on the Airpods Pro 2, and noise cancellation is slightly better, but it has more pressure on the Airpods Pro 2, with Buds 2 Pro i can't feel any pressure in my ears. I am using Buds 2 pro, and recently purchased Airpods Pro2 and am absolutely loving both the earphones. What I noticed is, sound quality in Airpods is good when spatial audio is enabled. Otherwise buds2 pro is much better in terms of sound quality. Vocals are clear, beats are crisp and punchy and bass is good. Other features like Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode, airpods pro is king🔥

I feel the pros 2 is what I would get due to the all round good jack if all trades features. The buds 2 pro sound (pun not intended) pretty convincing but due to the stemless design and form of control I from experience feel that the buds 2pro fail out but this is heavily from preference. The the nothing buds are visually stunning coming from a techie standpoint but due to it lack of availability in Canada (home of Linus :) I cannot comment further.

Quality is good, anc is good and tons of features for apple and connectivity is so smooth. When I use my ipad, it gets connected immediately. The problem with buds 2 pro is that the first buds pro had a better mic in a area with a lot of noise. I found myself use airpods on my galaxy devices for calls but even music. I daily the airpods pro 2 and B&O Beoplay ex, everyday. Even tho im an android user, I have to give apple credit for refining their devices

The Apple AirPods Pro 2 supports Dolby ATMOS when it’s used with the Apple Music and it also does support hi-res lossless audio… please check well before reviewing …the AirPods can also be detected using the gps in find my (u forgot to mention it) and they have “the best ecosystem” connectivity which works seamlessly with the other Apple products..

Apple literally said that they dont put the codec for loseless (ALAC) because they want to focus on reliability on connection. Airpods pro 2 (and even the Airpods Max) only support AAC & SBC which dont support Loseless. The only Apple Device that support loseless are iPhones, iPad and Homepods. Even then the iPhone and iPad speaker hardware can't do the frequency needed for loseless so you need a DAC supported wired headphone and a converter. The only Apple device that fully supported loseless are Homepod speaker. The setting you use on Apple Music is just wasting your data. Bose beats them all in comfort and noise cancelling. The Galaxy buds def sound the best though. They just fall out my ears ALL the time... Hunting my buds on the floor of a plane is the worst 😢

The value proposition on the nothing is entirely different from the other 2. Comparison to the OnePlus buds pro 2 would have been better. That said, Nothing is garbage for battery alone. Using it with anc and dual connect. Barely 2.5 hrs.

Also, try messing with the EQ on most earbuds, you can increase the bass, treble, and change sound settings. Also, spatial audio fixes that issue where all the instruments sound merged

The airpod pro 2 have losses ability now but Im pretty sure it only works with apple music and I think its fairly new but they do have the capability.

no they dont support lossless. for that they would have to put proper codec.

There's several articles, forum discussions and tests you can do that prove this. That being said I still choose to stream at a higher bitrate purely for peace of mind.

I know I came late but the microphone teste should have an outdoors test with wind and people talking. I saw one you tuber doing this and airpods pro 2 were way better than galaxy buds 2pro and this could make a difference for people who use it for business calls

I just got the Nothing Phone 1 and am in love with it! I want to immerse further into their eco system by getting the Nothing Ear 2. Would you recommend them for casual use such as on a school bus which is quite loud?

The quality of nothing buds is quite bad. I got a pair, but the ANC stopped working after just 3 days, and the case literally fell apart (I had to glue it together again). Also the controls are very inconvenient. If I were you, I would go with the Samsung Buds2 pro, since they are quite good and cheaper as well.

The anc on the ear(2) is really good imo. i went to a gym where they played music really loud and when i put on the ear (2)s and played a song on half the volume i didnt hear anything around me. Also it is my 1st higher tier earphones so i cant really compare them to others but i love them. Definitely would recommend.
