There are a few top tier instructional guitar resources on KZbin, but this is perfection. The tab overlay, the highlights of which bar and note is being discussed, the perfect amount of recap/review without being tedious, the succinct references to which string and fret without being overwhelming, the organized links and bookmarks to specific sections in the description... Just perfect. Extraordinarily well done. Thank you for all the extra effort you put in.

This was such a great lesson from an editing stand point as well as thoughtfully explained without overly dwelling on parts, nor moving along too fast. Having the tablature + a guitar neck graphic were extremely helpful, and an underrated aspect of a tutorial - but most underrated of all is your technique! I can’t think of how many tutorials where the teachers fingerings are so ganked-out in muscle cramped looking positions that the view of what they are doing is totally obscured! Very clean(legible?) guitar playing from this guitar teacher! Clean enough, I mostly do not need the tabs - although if they are there, why not use ‘em? 10/10! Bravo sir!

Thank you for putting so much time into doing this one right. I learned a butchered version that was kinda close back in the day (25 years ago). God, has it been that long already? I feel old. Anyway, I use to use that butchered version as a warm up whenever I picked up my guitar and it influenced everything I played to such an extent that I was short cutting everything I played. I hit a plateau and got frustrated. I didn't take much for me to put down the guitar for a decade or so. The songs I was playing at the time kinda lost their meaning for me too. Toss a divorce in there on top of it, and... Well, you see where this is going. Now, here I am feeling a different, and new part of my life, yet this song has always been close to my heart. It's like it was written specifically for me. So, back through all the pain and the hand cramps, learning scales this time first (Gmaj) like I should have done before. And I thought, why not make sure I do it all right this time. I never could solo or improvise before. I'm fixing that this time around. So, all you beginners and even intermediate players out there. Listen to your teachers and learn your music theory or you will never reach your full potential. Take it from someone who wasted decades without a solid foundation. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. My comeback trail won't be too horrible and I'll pick things up quickly, but man, what a waste of talent that could have been.
