Andy, thank you for this excellent lesson. I tried this song about 6 years ago when I first started playing and I quickly realized I wasn’t ready. Forgot about it for years and then found your multi-part lesson last week and took up learning it. Got it now and can’t thank you enough for your hard work and patience to make these videos for us. Excellent!! I can't play it like you, but I sure can play it better now than I was before. I'll keep working on it because It's one of those songs I want to keep playing and not forget how to play. Great song. Sure does hurt my picking hand fingers though. I'm not used to using them like this for so long. Especially the thumb!

Beginners tip, learn the bridge first as it’s easier to accomplish and then feel good about yourself. Learning the intro took me 10 years on and off.

Your have an incredible talent for teaching. Please consider putting some of your instruction on Health Rangers independent data base. If all systems (internet) goes down his will always be up. He also posts things on health, farming, survival. Music is just as important and if everything goes down I can still enjoy my time with your tutorials!

You hold the Em just in case you hit the 5th or the 4th string. Therefore it would not sound off and you can play it like nothing happened. If you just let go of the guitar you have to be damn sure you would not hit those strings.
