Renditions like this just reminds me how tragically underused cellos are in modern music. That powerful distinct cello sound is pure music and emotion to me, I suppose that's why it's not used much to avoid it overshadowing everything else in songs.

They put their heart and soul into every aspect of the piece. True musicians seem to innately do this. It makes the music become animated as it awakens to its own , living vibrancy. This is one of my favorite songs. I think it is an incredible love song Jeff Hatfield composed for his girlfriend back in the day but, to me, it feels like a love song to Humanity itself guided by a higher power as well ....♥️♥️♥️

I'm sure you mean James Hetfield....it's lyrics are written around a telephone conversation to his girlfriend when he was away on tour.

Mně se líbí, že metalisti, rockeři napíší píseň, hudbu, která je pak nádherná i s klasickými nástroji, s houslemi, s violou... Jsou, někteří, opravdu skvělí. Díky moc ❤❤❤
