So very deep and personal. So sad yet BEAUTIFUL. Her real beauty is her pain is channeled through her ART. I loved the documentary very much and as an artist we often use art to try to heal our pain. LOVE Gloria Faux Fur line and also her great style, and I still love her designer jeans.

Have watched this documentary twice now.Fascinating & historical. Love Anderson Cooper & so glad he was able to get his mother to do this. My own mom, 91 also, not nearly as interesting & cooperative ! Impressed how she was able to discuss the loss of Anderson's brother. She's been thru so much. Then again, so has he.

Just finished watching this documentary & it was one of the most amazing & beautifully done documentaries I've ever seen. She is a extraordinary woman. And so beautiful! You can definitely see the special bond between Anderson & Gloria. She lived such a amazing life & she's not done yet. She's an inspiration a beautiful soul, elegant, & extremely talented. I see where Anderson gets his compassion, strength, intelligence, passion, & talents from. I know she's 92 now but she seems to me to have more life to live & she will definitely make the best of it. She's a survivor & fighter. I've found someone to look up to. What a great role model for young women. Anderson & her other son's are very lucky to have her as their mother & that comes through in their interactions. May her son Carter RIP. How horrific for a mother to witness that & for the rest of the kid's. I broke down in tears when Gloria & Anderson were talking about it. Just heartbreaking. I was never really a big fan of Anderson Cooper but after watching this I've become one of his biggest. Love them both. Wish them many more yrs together.

I love that he says it didn’t have any reality to him “The whole Vanderbilt thing” and then they cut to a shot of him in a tuxedo walking down the red carpet. I think he’s so far down the rabbit hole that he doesn’t realize that he lived in incredibly charmed privileged life. One that most will never see and largely owes his career to his last name..

Anderson, what a nice tribute to your mother, I hope there was nothing left unsead. I know how that felt with my own natural mother, but I didn't leave anything unsead with my beloved step mom, who wss so important in my life. Mainly I told her how much I love her, and had since the day I met her. That I wss not always a good kid or thoughtful but I always wished I could have been born to her. She was always in my heart. As for my mother, I wished that I could have thanked her for giving me a good work ethic, and the ability to dtand alone, do I could support my children. She gave me the strength to follow through.

Her other son, Carter, committed suicide right in front of Gloria in 1989 by jumping from a balcony 14 stories up as Gloria was begging him to come back inside, he leaped. That was Anderson's brother. Anderson and Carter were a couple of years apart in age. Very sad for Anderson and Gloria too to have dealt with that suicide. Anderson was in college and was 21 at the time. Carter was 23 when he died.

Gloria Vanderbilt brand pants should not be bought. because the pocket is very shallow. The maker did not give importance to the pocket and because the pocket is shallow. It is easy to lose the thing to put and there is little to put, Is the person who made it stupid or deliberately done because the attitude is a pick pocketer, Observing if Gloria Vanderbilt's face is too much, I saw in her face that she is a pick pocketer. I thought it's not because of stupidity that the brand he made is that his pocket is very shallow but because of his wickedness, he has a habit of stealing things from inside his pocket because that's what I saw in his face, for example when his face is grumpy that's also his personality of the person, I am not personally attacked him but I am a victim of the wrong purchase of his product. I did not realize that his pocket was very shallow. The result was that I lost my money and other things, so I am angry with the product. The product is not worth buying. The name is Gloria Vanderbilt and in my analysis there are many people who hate the product because the pocket is very shallow .in the beginning my understanding is the manufacturer is stupid . but when im observed the face of Gloria Vanderbilt because i dont know her face in the beginning when Im observed her face , in his face manifesting a nature of a pick pocketer, im realise she ambition to steal in any one who wear his brand jean Im verry dissapointed because im losed several things because of him . Even though she already die when i bought her product .
