This man's voice is the most emotionally stimulating thing i have heard since old school linkin park. That softness and the Edge of a Screamgrowl what ever its called. I'm a guitar player and normally focus on that in any song I listen to but this guys voice is so good that its not untill i wrote this that i realised how powerful their frontman is.
@WeaponXLive

+dobby240 I'm right there with you on this. I rarely focus so intently on the vocals but this guys voice is fucking insane. Reminds me a lot of the guy from Boy Hits Car. I'm here in an abuse shelter. These guys have saved me from committing suicide, got me through some bad situations, and is my daily inspiration to go on every day. I love these guys, and so did my friend before she passed on. It sucks, but it's something everyone goes through. Tough times won't stop at the most vulnerable out there, unfortunately. I have a pretty messed up history, don't know my birth name or social security number for privacy reasons, but still humanity never fails to amaze me with both it's beauty and it's splendor. Hi Kathryn, I just wanted to say I used to be like you - on the edge. Thats when I discovered the truth - I found Christ, or I should say He found me. I learned we are all here for a purpose, and everything we go through has a reason. Our Father in heaven is real, and we are his children put here in this circumstances as a test to become worthy of inheriting ALL He has to offer us. If you look for Him, He will come to you, you just must keep an open mind and look for His signs as "coincidences" in the world around you. God Bless, stay strong

Ballast LYRICS MATES! When did we become these sinking stones? When did we build this broken home? Holding each other like ransom notes Dropping our hearts to grip our brother's throat You can't see because you don't know You're caught below, beneath your own shadow Stuck inside, half alive Do you ever stop to ask yourself why? Close your mind, identify Do you feel, do you feel? Do you call this a life? All you waited for Drowning just to keep score We always start with good intentions But lose ourselves along the way This is the time that we let it go These are the words that will take us home Singing the song that's inside us all If we don't open our eyes we're walking blind Anchored in anger, we exile ourselves Bitter blood builds our prison cell Darker water now fills our lungs The depths of our heart have blacked the sun You can't see because you don't know You're caught below, beneath your own shadow Stuck inside, half alive Do you ever stop to ask yourself why? Close your mind, identify Do you feel, do you feel? Do you call this a life? All you waited for Drowning just to keep score We always start with good intentions But lose ourselves along the way This is the time that we let it go These are the words that will take us home Singing the song that's inside us all If we don't open our eyes we're walking blind Naked we come, naked we leave Fools we are, to hold tightly We are the jail, we are the key We are free, we are free This is the time that we let it go These are the words that will take us home Singing the song that's inside us all If we just open our eyes This is the time that we let it go This is the pain we are forced to know Singing the song that's inside Inside us all, inside us all Walking Blind

I heard this song for the first time when I was 14, almost 10 years ago. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was about 2/4 am and I was laying on the couch in the pitch dark alone with my little mp3 player/radio. I was listening to a rock station, I can’t remember if it was local or not. The recent song had just finished playing when the host announced, “Up next we have something new here for you, this will be the first time we play this song on the station. This is by Nothing More, titled this is the time.” It was the best experience of my life listening to a new song. It was literally music to my ears and soul. And ever since hearing this song, I always have to make sure to add it to my playlists and listen to it. It means so much to me since. Thank you Nothing More!!! Can’t say it enough, I love you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

DusTiz Back 1º - Fight The Fade's songs lyrics may be good, but their singer voice is as good as any other, and to say the truth, the only thing good one their songs are really the lyrics. 2º - Escape the Day hasn't a single popular, and in my opinion, any good song. The vocals between the two singers should be better... 3º - I bet you are only talking well about this band because most of the members used to belong to Egypt Central. 4º - From Ashes to New are one of the most popular bands of this year. Especially on The AMV society. Good part of this year great AMVs have their songs as audio. But the band still has a problem. They only have release five songs until now. 5º - I have to confess, this band kind of plays good songs. But most of them are from another famous bands. I guess their only famous music made 100% by them is Dark Storms, but I have my doubts about this music. 6º - Don't get angry because of this. There are a lot of bands with talent that don't get to become very famous. Like SR-71, Like a Storm (for now...), We as Human (For now to...), Crossfade, The Unguided, Royal Republic, etc.

Dear members of nothing more. Found your band by algorithm on you tube. This was such a enormous gift for me. You're miles away from other bands. Every song of your last 2 LP's is absolutley phenomenal. My favorites are fade in fade out and ships in the night but only 1% more than all other songs. Every part of each songs is well done. The lyrics are sensationell - think you all read a lot of quantenphysics etc. Sadly that a lot of the people in my life don't know your band and the sensational songs. I will do everything to change this 😉😁. Hope you will tour in germany as soon as possible. Greeds from a new big big fan from germany and please excuse my bad English.

Agreed! I fucking love Fair To Midland! Favorite band of all time because of the insane melodies and metaphorical lyricism.

I remember hearing this song on the radio in 2014. In 2015 I saw them in concert, they quickly became my favorite band after. In 2023 I am seeing them again in a few months. Some artists just stick with you forever

This is the first band/song that I remember exactly what I was doing when I first heard it. It was on one of those endless music channels, on cable. (I love rock music and I have my favorites but this was and still is the only one I can remember what I was doing.) I was cleaning house, stopped and wrote their name down. They were never played on the radio in my area. I had to seek them out elsewhere. Been a fan ever since! Thank you Nothing More, best wishes to you all.

The way I see it, you can respect a band without liking their music. In that sense, even people who don't like listening to Nothing More can appreciate their talent and messages.

This song got me onto Nothing More and holy shit, I haven't heard a song on the radio that got me to Google the band so quickly since...Animals as Leaders maybe like 5 years ago. Incredible lead melodies, and that modern prog metal guitar sound is what really interested me. Glad to find out that they are actually into fun time signature changes and real prog metal roots! I'll be spinning this song in between sets at my band's shows to get more people into them, too. Will definitely purchase all of their earlier albums as well. Their FB posts just add to their overall image and ambiance. Keep up the good work!
