I fairly recently built an Armattan Tadpole around the HiFionRC F7 AIO 45anp flight controler with a RunCam Split 3 Nano Woop cam aboard. I got a R-XSR receiver in her and a Rush Tiny Tank Vtx. She is running BETAFPV 4s 450mah batts with the Armattan 1204 5000kv motors on GemFan Cyclone 3016 Tri-Blades.

That is a very nice-sounding HD micro setup! I also have that frame (2.5”) and wish the DJI stuff was small enough to fit. It’s really great for analog builds though. I might resurrect it at some point.

Footage looks pretty smooth. What is your rtf weight? Is it under 250g?

Thanks! Yes with the 4S 520mAh in the video it’s about 175g.

@@MiniMicroFPV That is crazy low weight. Is this really RTF? So including the battery?

@@RCnerd74 I double-checked and I was off by 5g so it’s more like 180g with the 4S 520. The battery is fairly light and the motors on this are a little smaller than what comes on the BNF.

@RCnerd74 Oh cool. I think if I was building this from scratch I might use 1404 motors or I also noticed the BNF has 1206 motors so maybe that stator volume is the sweet spot.

what if use a 1408 motors on this frame ?

Hmm. They might be a little large and it could physically depend on the size of the bottom shaft or C-clip. The center opening at the arm ends is only about 4mm so a larger C-clip may not fit.

@@MiniMicroFPV hm... 🤔 I want swap diatone gtr349 and place it on roma l3. I think do this, because vista , is so to hard instal on gtr349. And i think this little motors like 1204 / 1206 it not so poewrful like 1408 (Yes i know this motors is very smooth, but...)

For sure 1408 is much stronger than 12xx but they’ll also draw much more voltage~
