Nothing Phone (2) unboxing & hands on overview with the second smartphone by nothing this new phone (2) has a 6.7" OLED Screen with 120hz LTPO screen is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor has improved glyph lighting comes with dual 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front facing camera and has a 4700 mAh battery and also supports wireless charging upto 15W and is IP54 rated.
Nothing Phone (2) was launched in India for Rs 45K there is an Rs 3K discount with some credit card offers so works out to be Rs 42K (with discounts) for the base variant, add Rs 5K for extra storage variants, will be sold via flipkart in India.

That effect when display turns off, that is wonderful. I remember when i had HTC M8, it had same type of fading effect. I have very strong hope on UI. Unlike other manufacturer, rather than downgrading UI purposefully, Nothing is working hard to improve UI.

We need to know in depth about : 1. Battery with dual sim , standby and screen on time with media consumption 2. speakers quality and screen quality 3. Camera in different conditions and the wide angle performance, night mode 4. Glyph a gimmic or not in this one. Does it have notifications for the different apps 5. No headphone jack and charger in the box is sad :< 6. OS updates and comparison with NP1 according to OS promises

The processor in the Phone 2 itself blows Phone 1 out of the water..... 8+ Gen 1 is superior to the 778g in every way imaginable and by quite some distance. But yeah they've kept the price real steep too....

More so if I have to say, the specs are all tried out ,the UI is pure Android experience(which is good but boring) and the glyph lights loose it's relevancy after around a month. So it could've been a good device if there are some customization and playfullness around it's UI or a design change could've been good. BASICALLY WHAT IS IT'S USP ?
