the start really resonated with me, because i was consuming so much self improvement content + books [literally all i consumed for over 1.5 yrs] but i felt like i was getting nowhere, and it's kind of hitting me that maybe _i_ wasn't enough (my actions)
@ciarads42753 ай бұрын
I don’t think that you necessarily wasn’t enough. I think Omar as you were so hyper focus on that that you wouldn’t look at the world around you and just see how it is. He said you need to live in the present. You should have self improvement, but it shouldn’t consume your life. You should have a balance.

I have never watched or listened to anything close to his content but they way he keeps showing up on my tl,i just clicked and bro read my mind..but yes adjusting to the world can be confusing,and this was very helpful…i am 22,just moved to another continent and most of the time I don’t even know what im doing,because im still stuck in my continent,with my friends and what used to be my lifestyle.but after a week of actually learning about me and listening to you,i can see the light.i have hope for my life

Something alot of people binge watching self improvement (including myself) do is absorbing and retaining so much information and never applying it to get your own perspective and results. Your not improving as much as you think you are by just absorbing self improvement content, thats jus being aware, you start improving once you actually put that advice to action. Thank you profound pondering

I’ve never been this early to one of your videos, but I already know it is gonna be fire. ❤️🔥 May the Holy Spirit guide our souls and may the Lord let us rest in His embrace and His message through this video. May He let us discern what’s from Him and what isn’t. GOD BLESS BROTHER !!

Many people have restricting living circumstances due to things outside of their control e.g. poverty, family genetics/environment, so just to reiterate that your work is in proportion to your capability - physical, mental, social, financial etc. Many are less abled than others in certain areas. Push past comfort while prioritising your wellbeing. You touched on this in the beginning with how past possibilities, what ifs, are nonexistent and only the present exists which I envisioned as the trail before me, many paths I could've taken yet here I am in the present, the only thing I can control is the effort I exert to get to the summit. Of course many things were outside of our control, e.g. living circumstances, but what matters is what is now in your control, the work you put in

And I've gotten back so much peace. But do be honest i have gotten back into some bad habits this video has really helped open my eyes to a lot thank you

Just remember that positive change takes time. When bad habits creep back into your life, just take a step back and realize what is happening, at that point you can start pushing them out again. Don't ever lose motivation by feeling guilty of falling back into old habits. We're all human and mistakes are inevitable, as long as you are aware they're happening then you are further ahead than you were in the past. Good luck with your journey ❤

remember that the way you feel is mostly inside of you yes people may be negative in your life but always take a look at it from a unpersonal perspective and try not to just label issues you face. Lots of the time we tend to try and take action in the motive of our goal and fail to see that it may be something small in yourself that leads you to feel these ways. The same way one can travel to a new country and meet an entire new surrounding of people but eventually return to the same old way of being. Keep going and keep getting to know yourself , you will figure it all out just trust life itself

Hey man, you'r content really made me view the world and myself in a better way. I want to ask you, do you think it's self-destructive to believe everything that happens to me is deserved. And I mean the good things and the bad things, but really pointing to the bad things. Even if the situation seems completely random and undeserved, I still have a feeling it was my fault, that God is punishing me now when I'm doing ok for something I didn't realize I did or did in the past. I just want to take full responsibility over everything in my life, it keeps me sane. Love you and thank you in advance.
@rockbottom.vАй бұрын
god doesnt punish, he just pulls back sometimes. theres this great analogy i heard recently that goes like this. imagine you are a bucket, and you have holes in the bottom. these holes are your personal demons/self destructive behaviors. take a second and ask yourself why would god fill up a bucket with holes? he will try to an extent, but you have to start PATCHING the holes. not saying theres no point of return, im just saying theres a point where its purely abusing grace and god will stop pouring into your bucket. food for thought, god bless. if u wanna talk feel free to reply nd we can swap socials.

@profoundpondering85753 ай бұрын
Don’t take life or yourself serious to a point of stress and thinking that you have to be perfect and that you need to be a certain way in order to love yourself, take yourself serious in a sense of you are here and you have potential don’t put yourself down in your head but lift yourself up
