Completely unrelated, but I remember seeing similar cross- shaped marks in my friend's minecraft world when playing. He was in peaceful, and for some reason the music grew louder when he was near them. There was also a hole that was seemingly made by a player because it went straight down and into a square space (it was a new world, I watched him generate it) and there were torches inside.He didn't go in, but something almost hit him into it. It was a peaceful world. I don't know if he had a mod or maybe it was just some really weird bug, but it freaked both of us out and he deleted it immediately. This was a few years ago. This video reminds me of that.

Maybe this is just me projecting, but this video is actually a pretty awesome exploration in the dichotomy between nihilism and the belief in a higher power. The player, whose metaphysical understanding of his world appears atheistic and based on empiricism, is confronted with the evidence of God. At first, he ignores this, chalking it up to chance. His conversation with the sheep reveals his fear of both God and the "void", which in addition to referring to the literal minecraft void can be interpreted metaphorically- "In nihilism and existentialism, the void is a concept that symbolizes the absence of meaning in life and the human condition's confrontation with nothingness" This video is deeper than you think, I think.

I've always had a thing with my Minecraft worlds Whenever there's an opening to a cave that's pitch black, or leading to a complex yet claustrophobic cave system that I can't understand. _(Especially in older versions)_ *_I would've always patched out their entrances with Bedrock, out of paranoia._* I'm not sure why still, I just thought the Bedrock would've been good at walling out the caves. Or at least I wouldn't have to see or think about the pitch black entrances. *_They almost looked like a void of sorts._*

yk how peaceful mode is like so scary and it feels so unsettling? recently, about a week ago, i was searching trough my minecraft worlds, since i was bored, and i found a peaceful mode one. so i joined it, and explored a little. and i found some really weird things in there. i saw holes in the ground that were shaped like crosses (that i believe weren't made by me, they were pretty far away from where i spawned when i joined) and i saw caves shaped weirdly, almost like if a player made them. i deleted the world asap and havent played minecraft since. i am genuinely scared.
