Fun fact: The Netherlands is absolutely in love with this version! So much that the biggest radio event of the year (Radio 2 - Top 2000), which lists the greatest 2000 songs of all time according to its listeners, put this Abbey-road version on the 77th place this year and last year on 97th place. This is an incredibly high notation for a live-version along other bands / artists such as Queen, Led Zeppelin, Eagles, Deep Purple, Metallica, David Bowie, Pink Floyd just to name a few. The Netherlands loves you Nothing But Thieves!

Here's something that I know you'll like from another band (a metal band) who did an Abbey Road Live Sessions recording. As I say their metal but they've incorporated a full orchestra to their song specially for this session at Abbey Rd. They're called 'The Architects'. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXStmmiei8mckLcsi=FnCH2KH1Y-BObew6 I highly recommend doing a KZbin search for 'Abbey Road Live Sessions'. There's LOTS of truly spectacular artists and bands. Their mostly UK artists/bands. Some only known in UK and parts of Europe. Latest Abbey Rd Live Session tho was an American country singer Warren sonethin. Sorry forget it surname, apologies for that. But yeah Biffy Clyro - Spaces (Abbey Rd full orchestra) London Grammer - Lord its a feeling (Abbey Rd Sessions qith full orchestra) Birdy - Live at Abbey Road Paulo Nuttini - Iron Sky Live at Abbey Road (When Paulo was recording his Live session the singer Adele was at the studios doing some work & she heard his performance stopped wtf she was doing and dashed to the studio to watch n listen then posted it on her twitter saying it was the best live performance she'd ever heard someone do...Paulo is Scottish amd didn't want big fame, so he chooses to release music when t F he wants & barely promotes his work either. He's known in UK and Europe tho. IRON SKY, he wrote about Scottish independence, it uses the speech Charlie Chaplin made during the movie 'The Dictator' to great effect too. Really, check it out!) Also another to search for too... Bastille & Hans Zimmer - Pompei XXIII (Hans Zimmer wrote the score for the full Welsh Symphony Orchestra and reworked the song for the band. It's spectacular! A must watch!) I hope u get this comment. Read it and decide to take a look. It really opened my eyes up to new artists and vans and their amazing talent. I don't think you'd be disappointed! Hopefully, you return here to send me a reply after watching them and share your thought! 1. Thing to remember is when artists do a live session at Abbey road they record in The Beatles studio have 1 take no editing is allowed post recording or effects added and they don't allow autotune either. Only the bravest and best artists take on the challenge when they get an invite by the studio, you can't ask to do a session, Abbey Rd need to invite you to do one, and always in the studio the Beatles used to record their albums too. They even use the same piano the Neatles used in the 60s too if the artist requests it. Really...go check them all out. Sole will blow you away! Truly! ENJOY!!!

This is definitely the most clever, original and beautiful piece of new music I have heard for a long time. This band demonstrates the fact that the artform is not dead; and does not consist of remakes of remakes and tired, angry people mumbling antagonistic drivel onto shiny plastic surfaces. This is mist on a hidden alpine lake. The is the first breath heard of the person lying beside you in the morning, or the absence of them when you are crying and alone. This is the light after a season of despair. This is air.

I'm conviced that artists like him should be recongnized by the world mostly because of conor's voice, it's special, authentic, precious. And then you've autotuned voices, lol what a world.

There's nothing wrong with autotune. There's no trickery being played on you. It's an aesthetic choice, and when done well it is quite otherworldly and beautiful. It is an effect, nothing more. See Kanye West - Runaway, Brockhampton - San Marcos, Kendrick - Money Trees/Bitch, Don't Kill my Vibe/Swimming Pools

I'm working on a radio station as a sound engineer, composer and speaker in Italy. First time i've played Impossible on air i was impressed by. After few hours i started to listen here. I belive a great pop rock song comes out. So many times i play and compose synthwave music, sometimes we listen a lot of trap and latin influences in pop commercial songs. But THIS song means there are so many compositions, lyrics and sounds ready to be discovered. Maybe pop rock music is not died. Great song, great band and whoa, what a voice!

I never click on songs I don't know. I'm so lazy I never like wasting time. The only way I learn songs is through the radio at work and through movies. This is one of the first times I remember ever discovering a song on my own. I randomly clicked on this as I was getting ready for work and this is all I've been listening all day. Spend all my breaks listening on a loop. Wow. How truly beautiful. Powerful, special, perfect. I cannot wait to spend all day tomorrow listening to it all over again.

Same! I have been a massive fan of theirs since I first heard them in like 2016 (2015?) when opening for another band and I was spellbound. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve seen them (4?) & I will go out of my way to see them every time they’re near. I met and have a pic with Conor and it’s one of my most treasured things. Conor’s voice & talent is only comparable to Jeff Buckley. I’m thrilled they’re growing in recognition; they deserve it all and much, much more.

This is exactly how it feels to fall so deeply in love with someone.."The moment you take a step, you do so on an act of faith because you don't really know that the floor's not going to give under your feet. you've given yourself up. But this is the most powerful thing that can be done: surrender.love is an act of surrender to another person. Total abandonment. I give myself to you. Take me. Do anything you like with me.." 🖤
