Mrs Skinnn & I were here. Eddie Money should have opened for Starship. Although both were good, I'll travel a long way to see Starship and saw them a number of times. I ran into Mickey at the Golden Nugget concert this spring- cool guy. American Music Theatre needs to get more lineups like this one. Two other very tight and exceptional bands we saw here were Tommy James & Badfinger. I was disappointed with The Moody Blues though.

Some songs are strictly for studios only and this is one of those songs. They both are struggling and the poor guy seems like he was about to pass out when he hit the high note ( All that i want to do) around 2:49, but as i remember the studio version he had a hard time with that part too.

+sthpac69 they can't hear. It's loud on that stage. Notice that to the camera the loudest part is the drums, even when their belting? I've been in that situation. You can't hear the low notes you're not going to be confident singing them. That's where he first fell off.

+Joshua Barnes Yeah, but think about the range of her notes, versus the range the ones he's missing. No doubt he's all over the place, but lower notes are VERY hard to compete volume wise. Higher notes, especially belty notes are easier, because you're louder. I've struggled with the same thing - and let me tell you - it sucks!

Grace's voice was full, powerful and flowed naturally like any artist in the creative process of their craft. Steph....was trying. She was pushing hard and it watered down vocals that didn't span the breadth or depth of Grace. There was no comparison and I'll leave it at that. It just goes to show that the raw power of a professional artist drawing from their soul is something that can't be mimicked or replicated.

Stephanie is a great replacement to Grace. None better. I saw them last night in Las Vegas and Wow what a great group they are. I felt 20 again. Unfortunately they will die out as their listeners do. No kids in the crowd. Everybody 45 plus in age. They still sound just like the day they came out with the songs. Every song they song last night was a hit. Great group! Stephanie, You rock.
