Idk where my original comment went but.... it's not crazy or in dc. Yes there is crime but this is not crazy. The 80s were crazy. Google the cities with the highest murder rate and DC isn't even in the top 17! And that's where the list ended. I saw crazy and it was when Rayful was out. I have a yearbook of classmates that never made it out of the 80s. People getting shot, execution style, over stepping on someone's shoes. Not saying there isn't violence in dc. But dc was crazy when it was the murder capital. Baltimore is much worse. There are places you can't go to in Baltimore in the middle of the day on a busy street with the police around the corner.

Rayful Edmond was considered the Michael Jordan of crack in Baltimore City. At the age of 13, I knew one of his affiliates. This high school kid had a mustang 5.0, corvette and Toyota Cressida sitting in front of his grandmother's house at the age of 16. Unfortunately, That's when I decided to become a drug dealer too. There is no fixing someone like Rayful Edmond, his mindset is what it is. Maybe he was given a safe place to stay and live out the rest of his life. There are plenty of other people who can help youth stay away from drugs and the street life, they don't need Rayful.

One of the first things they use to remind the public that he was an INFORMANT and that's why he was given early release...wow....i don't think they should allow that to be said when a high profile illegal drug dealing person is getting out . .It's like setting him up to be tried in the court of street justice...smh
