now, i’m only 3 minutes into the video (definitely worth the wait) but i giggle at the fact that this is paul’s second UHC and still doesn’t know that you can create a suspicious stew with an Oxeye Daisy and get 8s of regen !!

Props to you for even doing this. UHC survival is pretty difficult in a sense that you can only heal by gapples, potions, beacon effects, the regen variant of stew, and other viable healing effects. Early game is the most difficult since you start with basically zero healing items and you have to worry about taking even slight damage. It's not really that hard, you just need to think strategically. Might as well play it like you only have half a heart for now haha. Full prot 4 armor is definitely the move. Late game is where things get much easier.

I think axolotls can heal you, for example! If you kill a mob together, they give you a bit of regeneration as the “power of friendship”. Also - glistening melons are the ingredients needed for health potions! If you level up your farmer to that extent and have visited the nether you’re on your way to sustainable healing! :) (just got to the part where Paul thinks of this too, lol. Just before the nether xD) Just in case someone wanted to do this challenge

Paul, I get how safe you feel with a totem in your off-hand all the time, but really they're best used to ensure that things that would instantly kill you don't do that. When you're fighting, you're much much safer having a totem on your hotbar and a shield in your off-hand to block attacks

One of many things I love about your videos Paul is that you don’t duplicate anything and you play the game and not try to chat or cut corners, you play fair. Love love love your style of game play! I especially love Ultra Hard Core! Just wondering why when you are fighting the shulkers you don't use the chorus fruit? throwing them makes you stop floating - also can eat them ... I haven't used them in a hot minute, so forgot all the mechanics but they do stop the levitation.. Keep us entertained with your videos - I know they are a lot of work, but they are just the greatest! Thank you!

The mechanic is that eating chorus fruit causes teleportation to the nearest flat ground It doesn't cancel levitation but using it at the right time will teleport you to the ground immediately before the effect ends

Bridge plus, Paul! Hope the new 100 days format is suiting you. Loved this one! One very small recommendation is to experiment with texturing. For me, messing with gradients added just the right amount of spice and unlocked a level of creativity I didn't even realize I had.
