This is how I do maples buried treasure lol: 1. Spawn on a beach 2. Know that I’m not gonna get a shipwreck 3. Go to 9 9 in a chunk nearby 4. Don’t find a chest 5. Reset the run Great video though! I’ll definitely see how I can use proper maples buried treasure. :)

It's pretty much hacking, it is using clear debug-level information to locate things that the player is never supposed to locate this way (also using world generation information that are not given to the player in game), so ..... hacking feels illegal, that's how it is.

This refers to the fact that you can have chest at precise coordinates (9,9), not to the chart that you can display if you know the shortcuts. The pie chart exist, and it is not connected to the fact that some chunks in a specific biome can have a specific chest hidden at a location that is now known.

Great tutorial, make sure that when digging down, you are in the 'beach' biome, as that is the only biome in which buried treasure can spawn.

Not quite, i also thought that too. If u have a forest biome (for example) in the 9 - 9, but it's 1 block away from beach, apparently it can still spawn, happened to me yesterday and I was confused af 💀

Just letting everyone know that if you are doing this on 1.16.1 on starlight you need to make sure Entity Culling is off otherwise block entities won't show

If game renderer can isolate the entities loaded in your field of view, why do we use tick to find fortresses instead?

well with this trick that orange slice of the pie is showing all block entities, so you wouldn’t know if it was a chest or mob spawner etc. I also have never tried it with high RD. This is honestly a really good question that I don’t really have enough experience to answer.

@@jt9324x Yes, i know. I located a buried treasure and confirmed it was there in spectator afterwards. I tried the trick knowing there was a buried treasure there, and it didn't work. Eventually I got it to work in 1.16.1 (only sometimes) but not any other versions.

hey, for mapless treasure my f3 doesn't show the chest part of the pie graph when I go through GameRenderer ---> level ---> entities ---> there isn't the option for block entities. I'm using fabric with sodium, lithium, and phosphor, so could one of those three be affecting it?

Honestly, I appreciate it, because finding buried treasure is an annoying hassle without that knowledge. Put simply, for someone with my attention span, however good the rewards are, they won't be worth the effort, quadruply so if its near or in water. "Oh it's too easy" actually 30 minutes of hassle for like, at most a couple diamonds, some chainmail, and a heart of the sea is not worth it, since Im usually out exploring only after ive gotten established. Conduits are cool, but I honestly only ever need one for when I decide that an ocean temple is no longer going to exist anymore.
