Way to conflate and misconstrue the argument - it has nothing to with Brian Kelly being a good coach. The argument is what Kelly said - that he didn't have the resources to win a championship at Notre Dame, so he left for LSU. And he's been proven wrong by year 3 because Notre Dame is playing for a national championship.

I don't think they can honestly. They haven't faced offenses like Texas and OSU in the playoff Era. ND has a good defense but a suspect limited offense. Your National Champion will either be Texas or OSU. I'm seeing it being OSU unless Texas can play a almost perfect game.

Brian Kelly hate started when Declan Sullivan died in the scissor lift. That was his first season, not his third season. It also didn't help BKs reputation when he took an NFL job interview right after the Bama embarrassment. It got really bad when he hired his buddy to be the DC and turned a good defense with players like Jaylon Smith into a 4 win football team.
