I earnestly enjoy watching Alabama football. They really deserve to play in some form of playoff series that elevates their presence in the eyes of Notre Dame fans. Perhaps create a bowl series honoring the late Bear Bryant. The Bear Hat Bowl perhaps. Second tier schools like SMU, Clemson, Michigan, Florida State, Mary Washington, Northern Virginia Community College, Slippery Rock and Alabama could compete for the hat that Bear built, forever memorialized in the cult classic Caddy Shack when Rodney Dangerfield said "Niice hat. Whoever buys this should get a bowl of shrimp gumbo soup." Roll Tide .. you no longer have to hide when you wear the hat that bear built.
