Tight as in uptight, yes. These QB's aren't developing fully. He's got too much on his plate, just trying to please the school admin, not win first. The QB's show that in spades. Clifford, Allar, not leaders, and that comes from poor leadership. Trace came in with mountains of charisma, a little talent and having won everything and CJF just followed his lead and having Saquon didn't hurt.

This loss in not on James Franklin at his all drew allar played terrible and they still should of won missing throws like the early one 3rd & goal he throws a terrible low throw which should of been a easy touchdown so now they gotta settle for 3 than at the end I’m pretty sure his coaches told him and if nobody is open do not force a throw and what does he do Throw the ball across his body which is always a NO-NO than on defense penn state has a 7pt lead 2nd&8 4 minutes left and Penn state CB just falls like huh and notre dame has a wide open Wr downfield for a easy 70 yard walk in touchdown like James Franklin coach a good game this loss is not on him at all

Unfortunately Allar loses his touch under real pressure, when he knows the game is on him, and not only did he miss a wide open Singleton for a TD, he also threw it out of bounds to end the game instead of to Nick for the chance to save the game, etc. He was tight all game, except a little bit after half when he was only a little tight. We need a new QB (and new WR) coaches, and Franklin needs to stay far away and let them gain confidence. Franklin is trying too hard to serve the school admin and makes his QB's nervous. Just trust your coaches. Clifford never improved, Allar shouldn't be struggling with nerves like that. He has touch when he's loose because they're confidant in their chances, but he was tight as heck in the first, loosened up a lot in the second and then went back to missing. Get him some help. As far as the D, I was watching #11 in pre-game with a monocular and he looked pretty well healed. Once it started though, he was had his head ripped off on occasion, and was held like I've never seen, but he still dominated much of that side of the field. They ran the other way. Dani was on a mission. We had great lines. Our O was ready. Those #13 blocks for #10 were just awesome plays, two-headed monster plays. Warren could have won the game, they had no answer.... .. Fantastic game. I called a 18-15 win for Penn State, but the three points were on the other side at the end. Lotta deeply upset fans, which I guess I get but we played well. ND is my favorite rivalry outside of playing in Kinnick, and they gave us a great game. Can't ask for more in life than to compete with class.
