I love the idea of this channel and have been hooked from the start. Especially happy that the channel is happening at the same time the Northern schools are in the spotlight. Keep up the great work - we’re listening!

There were no Northern teams in the Texas bracket. This is the best possible outcome.

Nice job Doug, love your emotion, you live the sentiment of North College football. Go Bucks! …and I’d say 38 yr old Dan Lanning will be at the forefront of College football too.

Doug, you give some great, emotional speeches. Please PLEASE write a speech for Ryan Day before next years Michigan game. 😂 Lets go kings and princes of the North!

You can't watch Doug get emotional and still try to tell me that it means more in the south! Doug isn't even an ND fan!!!
@aaronbux12 күн бұрын
I posted a 24 - 16 win for ND. Just missed. I could not see how a back-up QB, in an offense that already couldn't move the ball, was going to beat a good D like ND's. You can imagine what the Joe-gia fans said to me haha. Go North!!!

This is great for the Big 10 and northern powers, but now Ohio State has too crush Texas in Arlington in the Heart of Texas (a fan of neither Ohio State or Texas) for a 5-1 record for the Big 10 over SEC. We are...Penn State and beat Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl (as an underdog) for a Big 10 National Championship in the Heart of the South (Atlanta)!

Did you know football has it's roots following the civil war? People wanted to continue the war and this gane allowed them to vent. Not kidding.

Sec cant play unless the conditions are just right. 55-90 degrees, low altitude, no snow or temps below 32. Once it gets cold sec curls up like being in a cold pool...if you know what i mean...

I enjoy your show as a M fan my man. But the civil war is over. M and ohio will forget the battle of Toledo to crush Georgia if they ever get loud again lol

I think the west coast is it's own thing. Arizona doesn't seem like a southern state anymore than USC/UCLA are southern schools... Culturally speaking

Ha, I just got to the part where you said something similar. But you didn't say the quiet part out loud. Anyway, here was my original comment: So Doug, here's the thing about the North rising up. I was listening to an Alabama podcast so I could hear them cry about how they lost to a Michigan team that had zero of its good players, including even Davis Warren in the 2nd half. One of them said, "NIL has neutered the SEC." This was unintentionally very revealing. But it is something I have been saying all year. So, when there was zero NIL, all the best talent kept going to South because...because why? Could it be...money? Oh, I know no one (ESPN) wants to acknowledge it, but the South had more bagmen than the Northern schools. So now that the North can legally pay players, that levels the playing field in recruiting. Huh, so when the talent is more evenly distributed, Northern schools can actually play? Fascinating! Suddenly Saban doesn't like the college football landscape anymore and retires. Oh, and who is the one school who everyone always pointed to in the North and said "They recruit like the SEC" especially after some coach who had previously been at Florida arrived? Just saying.

We can finally play our players, NIL comes along and the SEC declines, not a coincidence.
