This is definitely going to be one hell of a game. To me, these are two evenly teams. It's going to come down to who wants it more. Go Hoosiers ⚪️ 🔴

May want to be a little more prepared…. Do they play Friday? What’s their RBs name? “ umm”🤣🤣🤣

How do you think this IU rushing defense holds up against this ND rushing offenses?

It will be a challenge. But so will NDs pass defense against IUs pass offense!
@issaccody1161Күн бұрын
@SpeakeasySportsShow Are you concerned that 9/12 rushing offenses IU played were outside the top 90?
@AkshatShekhar-d7bКүн бұрын
Doubt. IU rushing defense has not really played any top rushing offenses besides OSU (Judkins bottled, Henderson not so much). ND pass defense has faced higher octane pass offenses like Louisville and USC, where the yardage doesn't look great, but they made plays when they had to.

As an IU fan since the early 70s, I can say that without reservation beating ND will be THE most gratifying sports win of my life! ... and why, you ask? ... Because the ND fan base is THE most entitled, arrogant and codependent fan base in sports history ... their brazenly irreverent exploitation of the otherwise exquisite "Word of Life" mural and renaming it as "Touchdown Jesus" constitutes an act of maniacal blasphemy and their misguided belief that there are points to be gained by winning this contrived pre-game narrative is an indication of a collective emotional insecurity that can and probably will pose a danger to the public at large ... These people have no lives and their reaction the day after losing this game is certain to make headlines ... HAVE A NICE DAY!

ND hasn’t been tested? Watch the SC game? Talk about schedules….IU’s ranks are good but 9 of the teams they faced have offenses that are ranked 95th or worse

ND fans can’t control 3rd party sellers.. ND only has issues with season ticket holders bc ND fans are global unlike other fanbases.. being a season ticket holder from Florida as a ND fan is not the same as being a season ticket holder in Indiana..

Pull their P4 games only (to eliminate Navy and Army) their passing stats either stay the same or get better.
@carlossiu88820 сағат бұрын
ND had a bad game against USC. Yes, this season they haven’t played high powered passing offenses. But this is the same coach and many of the same players (DBs are even more talented) that gave Caleb Williams and CJ Stroud their worst games as college QB’s

Pure skill players. Louisville and usc have better top end talent than Indiana.

Indiana skill players don’t line up to USC, Louisville, Texas A&M, or FSU. Then to say the ND’s pass D is against suspect offenses but miss that IU’s rush D doesn’t get addressed is a bit of a miss.

@@rockypinheiro4260Only about the 10th post I've read about how 6-6 USC is better then IU. 5 common opponents..IU 5-0 with avg. differential of 20+ per game, USC 2-3. Lazy posts with no research. I wish Freeman and his staff was half as over confident as ND fans

USC and Louisville both are on par or better than Indiana skill and passing wise. They were challenged vs USC last games. Up 7 late in the 4th quarter before back to back pick sixes and letting USC score in the last minute garbage time.
@PoppinCain21 сағат бұрын
I believe Rourke has the second or third highest PFF grade of any player in the playoffs (Jeanty is obviously #1). That passing offense is better than you think.
@ndgoldrush24 сағат бұрын
@PoppinCain I don't want to be mistaken. I think Indiana is a very good team. They can absolutely win, but I think Notre Dame SHOULD win. Indiana is difficult to analyze because they've played a lot of bad teams, but they dominated. They allow ~70 ypg rushing, but I don't believe they've played a top 50 rush offense. OSU was the best they've faced, but they had 2 o linemen out before the game and lost another in the Indiana game. I think they played like 3 top 50 passing offenses as well. They are a good team. They play VERY disciplined ball. They play together, and they play with a chip. However, their offense struggled against the 2 defenses they played closest to ND (Mich, OSU). Particularly, in the run game. I think Mich, OSU are better on the d line. Linebackers are a wash or favor ND and secondary favors ND.
@PoppinCain4 сағат бұрын
@ndgoldrush2 it is worth mentioning that IU lost their best O lineman in practice right before that Mich game, so there were some adjustments being made, similar to OSUs line when they played Nebraska. In terms of the OSU game, the line was doing fine until the punt team gave up back to back TDs. It was the crowd noise that got to IUs offense as they had to go to a silent count. Personally, I think they're better off for it and will be more prepared going into the environment at ND.
@ndgoldrush23 сағат бұрын
@PoppinCain Yea, maybe their best o linemen. Time will definitely help alleviate some of those issues, at least help the coaches scheme to protect the line. Cig is a good coach with playoff experience. I think they will be ready to go. I don't expect them to give the game away. The Irish will have to earn it. I personally think the first half will be close - tied, or within 1 score. Then the Irish wear the Hoosiers down and control the second half. Weather may play a major role. Chance of snow, but wind gusts up to 40 mph. Wind in particular hurts Indiana more than Notre Dame. The Irish will be able to run the ball.

@ndgoldrush2 that's true. The cold won't affect IU but wind certainly will

How is ND TOP 3 defense? They are ranked 51 in rush!!!! IU is ranked in top 9 in pass, rush,pts allowed, yards allowed. Sure ND is ranked 3 in pass defense but the only other one that they are lower than IU is points. Other than that IU is better not one of you talked about how IU run defense is number 1 and I do believe 9 in pass get out of here. The one game they played that had a qb that could pass aka usc what did they light them up for 350?

As you proved.. stats can easily be manipulated. I think the one thing thats missing here is just raw talent. I watched a few indiana games. The 2 games they struggled were against legit nfl talent. ND is way better than Michigan.. but not quite OSU. That tells me where i think this will go.
