Hey gixxer brah. Just got my first bike. A 2002 gsxr 750. I’m in hospital now. I broke my femur and a lot of other stuff. I live in Florida I’m 20 years old. I plan on riding again. I got hit by a f250 and he ran over my legs I got caught under his utility trailer and he kept driving. Doctor says I’m lucky to be alive. I wish one day we can ride and maybe you can teach me how to be a bit safer. It’ll probably be a little bit before I can get out on my own again but when I do I hope I can we can meet and have some fun on the streets. You were my inspiration and my legs really hurt. I pray you all stay safe out there and don’t ride outside of your limit. The guy who hit me did an illegal u turn and well the medication is knocking me out. Be safe guys

Just wanna let you know that the length of the brake lines shouldn’t matter. Force exerted from the master cylinder should be equal or greater at the piston. The fluid doesn’t need to travel the length to get pressure, it doesn’t compress, and there shouldn’t be air in the system to be able to move fluid around and lose pressure. Master pushes on fluid which then pushes on the piston at the end of the system.

Nice! I’m looking at getting a Tuono 660 as my second bike. I’m nervous about reliability.
@Spitfiya.rs6602 жыл бұрын
This 2022 is my very first ever sports bike. I’ve never had any type of street bike in my life. I’m very impressed. Across-the-board with this bike. I have had nothing but dealer support with any questions or issues that you hear on KZbin and they have answers for. The reliability issues they had in 2021 with the engine issues. Aprilia made good on every engine to be replaced. That speaks for itself. As long as you don’t flash the ECU you will not void your warranty for two years. I don’t plan on doing that so that I can get used to the bike and make modifications gradually to enjoy the bike for a long term. The only issue I have personally is the mirrors shake at 4000 RPMs and up. Most people remove them. I plan on keeping them wish there was a way around that. I did do a full titanium SC project exhaust with carbon fiber, tip model, CRT-1 and it’s freaking amazing. The bike is loud aggressive. Sounds perfect for this parallel twin. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I feel that I helped to convince another Moto Vlogger SKXIIII on choosing this exact exhaust. He recently had an issue pop up on his dashboard with a red”R” which meant his quick shifter sensor needed to be replaced, but it’s still under warranty. I found out that answer through my dealer to help him out. Simple and quick. He called it a reliability issue but that’s not reliability because the bike wasn’t down. He can still shift through the gears manually with the clutch up and down. It was just a sensor. I’ve had no leaks. I’ve had no failures of any kind. I took ownership on April 9th 2022 first 2022 RS660 Apex black sold south Florida In Miami. Check mine out @spitfiya.rs660 You might be able to see a walk around video I’ve done with the modifications on my bike. Good luck in your decision. I know you’ll make the right one and won’t be disappointed.

When I bought my ZX-14R new in 2013, ABS was an option and I didn't want it. I had heard the ABS models didn't have a good feel through the brake lever like the non-ABS bikes did. I put SBS sintered pads in and it isn't grabby at all. I don't even need ABS because the SBS pads need a split second to warm up before they grab hard and this keeps you from locking up the front wheel.

@Spitfiya.rs660 Жыл бұрын
@@brianburkhard5209 yes I think it’s a great starter bike. I’m 54 and this is my first sport bike. You just have to be disciplined and don’t do stupid shit. Yes are you gonna get it to win it and go through the gears top end, I’m sure of it. Right now. Honestly, my bike is in the shop any day I should hear that it’s ready, but while going through the gears, my throttle gave out while the engine was still running and a big red flashing warning sign came across my digital display which indicated ATC disabled, which is (Aprilia Traction Control). I hear that the bike needs to be updated in the computer system. Hopefully that’s all that it is. I also hear, that electronics are not covered by Aprilia which sucks to hear when you have a two year warranty and you figure you have bumper-to-bumper coverage. I also hear that if you install a tail tidy and there’s aftermarket lights that go on the bike that they won’t honor any electrical issues. I think that’s crap especially when the dealer does installs it Aprilia should support their product. I’m waiting to hear the answers. Hopefully today I will be told when the bike will be ready. I also had them check the tone wheel and the speed sensor to see if those went bad by any chance. I hear that a micrometer needs to be used for the spacing and distance between the tone wheel and the sensor so that it reads accurately if that is off you’re gonna have issues, especially in top end speeds. my fingers are crossed. I’m missing my baby girl and I want her back. Can’t wait to ride again. The only other issues I’ve had with the bike, which is common that the oil pan bolt/nut backs off a little bit and could create a leak (VTwin) which it should be routinely checked for torque specs by manufacture. Once that was done, I have no more leak. hope this helps you in the future with your purchase of this beautiful bike.
