+sani 86 +ninjast4r I dunno, maybe that he's sober, come to find out he really is a fan & mark. Because previously, he always looked down, felt he was smarter, & superior to wrestling & the fans. During interviews he'd call the fans virgins & during shoots he'd act like he had better things to do. Better things to do, like what, drink excessively? He's still my favorite though, so much personality, it's effortless.

I got to meet and hang with Scott Hall back in 2008. Was around him for 2-3 months....yeah, it was one of his rehab stints, and my only time in one. Got to meet some others as well. Anyway, him and I hit it off well (now I’m sure he doesn’t remember me, I’m a nobody, just another dude along his road), but the guy was and is just like his person here. He’s funny, loves to joke with people, and loves telling wrestling stories. And he was sober during this time, he was 49, and wasn’t in bad shape but I doubt seriously he could have have been in the ring as his body was pretty beat up by then. I’m so happy that he has seemingly turned the corner, from one addict to another that had to face the music and get things turned around. Hope he continues to live life and enjoy his retirement.
You can see DDP is very proud of Scott. You can see it on his face. Good dude.

Scott hall has one of the BEST minds for the business possible. He talks about wrestling in such a great light and has a great memory on things that happened 15, 20, 25 years ago like it happened yesterday and he has the perfect voice for radio or a podcast. I wish he started a podcast with Conrad Thompson or someone like him, shit do one with DDP or jake the snake. Wow I just typed all that before I even got to the point in the video where sam Roberts complimented his memory and story telling lol. Shit he stole my thunder.

@jaycuthbert2453 жыл бұрын
His problems stemmed for not having a purpose after his career ended along with the addiction to alcohol. Scott thrives when he's either talking and planning wrestling or able to be needed on his preferred environment. I reckon the reason he fell so hard was because it was all light camera and action. He was adored and was constantly working and then boom it went straight into nothingness. Didn't have a purpose to wake up for everyday and I can see why that co oletely crushed his reasoning to try get sober because he thought "well what else is there to do?" And he also believed (which is crazy) " everyone's forgot about me and no one cares about seeing me anymore or wants to hear from me. I'm a has been" and he couldn't be more wrong he was always and remains to be adored by fans even after all these years. If this man is needed and has a chance to share his huge wrestling stories and ideas I feel that's why he's thriving and determined to stay away from the wagon. Let's just hope in the future it doesn't dry up again and he's left to his own devices and spends too much time on his own again because that's when that evil drinker in his brain is awoken and huge self loathing begins to creep in again

I'm a recovering addict myself being hooked on pills will destroy your life it takes away what you hold dear to your life. For me it was my wife and kids. Its a struggle everyday to stay sober I just wish I would have done this before I lost my family. But the up side my parents are still alive they have not had to bury their son and that's what keeps going I've put everyone through enough I do not want to die. These two each had one of the best finishers in wrestling history, with Page's ring psychology including seemingly taking the Diamond Cutter from any configuration he and his opponent(s) could possibly be in at any given time, and Hall inventing the Edge/crucifix powerbomb, which was particularly gratifying back when he was dropping them on their heads, necks and shoulders.

i dont know if ddp will see this. that is besides the point. but i must say that seeing this touched me..big time. i grew up watching these legends every friday and saturday night, with my dad (a cup of tea and ritch tea biscuites at the ready) these were and are and will always be heros to me!!! they hold a special place in my heart..forever.. DIAMOND DALLACE PAGE you are an ageal and maybe your really purpose on this world was for this moments! God bless you for helping and saving your fellow angels. broken people are not bad people they just need help!! what a job you are doing. JAKE THE SNAKE God bless you and i will pray a thousand times for you. thats a promise. search your heart and find the innocent you befor life took away all of the inncences, now look at you...so beautifull so true, now thats the reall you...the evil things people did to you fuck them..theirs only one place they are going and thats hell fire!! not you! jake. I see you. you have a good heart. im not preaching but God knows that. I know that your fans know that. RAZOR REMON/SCOTT HALL! seeing you and hearing your story made me water up even more. you are and will always be my greatest wrestler!! so cool so slcik,confident and you just looked hard lol. As a child I wasnt the most outwardly confident person i was more quite and shy. but i developted into a quitley confident being. and that, when i think about it, is because i looked up and sort insperation from you! you was and still are every thing i want to be as a man. and what i mean by that is that you set out to acheive your goals and not only did you do that, you conquerd it. life has beat you down struck you down and seeing you disscuss this hit me hard because how can this happen to my heros? the people i sort refuge in and the people i took confidence from? but i understand more than most how hard life can pound you! nor matter what your deepest darkest fears are scott. you affected my lfe for the positive and that will live with me forever so i hope you take solcae from that because ou deserve to. and to all of the wrestlers who are in the same position and for the ones who we have lost. in my heart you will live for ever and i think i speack for the rest of the people who you have touched. some times i wonder if these legends know how much they have affected the lifes of so many truley appreciative individuals?? Well done DDP truely Well done. and thanks for saving my heros and thak you my heros for being open and accepting DDP. love you all. peace and God bless.
