@rainbows5232 Жыл бұрын
@@jjuuuuuu it depends on severity and what exactly they experience. My brother has ocd but he has thoughts about killing himself, not others, and he does engage in repetitive actions out of obsessions of different thoughts he gets. But let's says someone has harm ocd, and then , here's a quoted example: "Avoidance: Someone may avoid certain scenarios or people where they think they will experience thoughts of harm. For example, they might avoid a specific coffee shop because they experienced a disturbing impulse to throw their coffee on the barista the last time they were there". Obviously not all people will act upon their thoughts, and also people have different thoughts, not all are extreme and related to hurting people.

As a true crime fan, I absolutely love Stephanie and her podcast! This story was crazy and should remind us all to listen to our guts, pay attention to signs, and when people show you who they are, believe it. She's so brave and she's a survivor; I'm so happy she's doing better and spreading her story. Side note: I love seeing/hearing other peoples reactions and thoughts to these stories because we all, no matter where we're from, be thinking the same things. I was saying all kindof "hell nah" and "couldn't be me" listening to these stories.

I knew from the letter he was bad when he kept using "I" and talking about himself. How the son will become like him, and how he's her savior. I would've been so sus after that. Especially after him showing up I'd get major red flags. This kinda was SIMILIAR with my stalker guy from work, he was like that guy. He love bombed me and I cut him off. It was so uncomfortable. I think he wanted to marry me within months too! I'm glad she's better! She's a very strong beautiful woman

Honestly, after hearing this story, I think it should be made the norm for people to look up who they're dating on the internet. I've seen people get offended that their dating partner looked them up and say that their privacy was invaded but honestly, after this story, safety comes first. People need to verify who they're dating and if they're legit or not. And whether they'd be safe dating this person.

This is actually a horrible idea. The only reason I say this is because most modern day serial killers are known for faking their personas. You will never be able to tell what’s real or what’s not ESPECIALLY online. Life is a gamble, trust your gut and mind. Not social media.

L'appel du Vide is a French phrase which translates to 'The Call of the Void'. It refers to the tendency we have to entertain self-destructive thoughts, like wanting to jump off a cliff when standing on its face.
@WoozidanTassia Жыл бұрын
Psychologically? No, opposites absolutely do not attract, at least not long term, it may have worked in the past when people were trapped in marriages by their beliefs but those were quite some unhappy marriages, people tend to look for someone that is the most simmilar to themselves specially in politics and religion, and that is why sometimes people end up with partners that look like they could be their siblings, and its something that plays into the ego of humans. Also and completely out of topic, I think you should watch the trilogy Stephanie Soo has on Wang SiCong, it's kinda hilarious + the last one has a bit of Kris Wu too and his cringe in action, I think you would love it

Imagine wanting to have a wedding WITHOUT your parents there (if you have a healthy relationship with them of course). Like that is just so absurd and wildly disrespectful to me the fact that he even suggested that to her. Like who's gonna walk her down the isle? The parents are such a huge part of the ceremony and it just would feel so wrong to not invite your parents to your wedding or at the very least, tell them that your getting MARRIED. I know they didn't end up having a traditional wedding, but she wanted one and he just pressured her to rush things. Like that part was just so crazy to me I don't get it. That was a gigantic red flag.

This! Like there are couples that have the wedding registration on their own without anyone, but they always celebrate the wedding ceremony afterwards with family and friends, so suggesting something like getting practically eloped after only 2,5 months is so outrageous!

There are a lot of scammers everywhere especially in Thailand because I always hear about people getting scammed in Thailand. This evil "husband" is a love & money scammer & ultimately a murderer. When he gets out of jail, he will probably try to avenge her being the evil person he is. All in all, her story is very inspirational and is a wakeup call for those who want to have a flash marriage. Observation of a potential spouse before marriage is so important. The red flags will help you to decide whether to commit or not. Thanks a lot for your reaction video Seb.

It's hard to move forward and understanding that you are not a victim but a survivor. I lived it. Between 13 and 29, I was tortured, sold, and almost killed by men who said they loved me. I couldn't have children, and I have PTSD because of the abuse. In the 80s there were not many laws that were actually enforced regarding domestic violence it was mainly a family matter. Here i am. I have trust issues, but I still see the good in people. I still have a loving heart, caring soul, and forgiving spirit. But I also have guilt because I survived when many don't

As a psych student, this is what i have to say about "opposites attract", they do. But thats usually it. They are attractive and interesting, and thats why we are drawn in. But the number one determining factor of a relationships is how similar you are to someone. After awhile with someone so different, you wont have anything to talk about or enjoy together. The intimacy will fade, and your feels likely will as well. But if you and the other person think alike, have the same beliefs, the same goals in life, and similar interests, you will have a lifetime of fun together, without anyone needing to make huge sacrifices in what they want
