Notting Hill and Hampstead Heath Cycle Ride

A while ago I did my first cycle ride across London, west to east. I promised myself I would do a south to north cycle ride one day and after some planning, eventually, here we are, a ride through Notting Hill and up to Hampstead Heath.
The ride starts at Paddington Station in West London, riding along Baywater Road to Notting Hill Gate, then northwards down Portobello Road riding through the world famous antiques market street. The on-the-street market stalls are only there on certain days and not on the day that I cycled which made it much easier with many less tourists that would normally pack the street.
I then headed east via over to Abbey Road, famous for the Beatles album cover released in 1970. From Abbey Road we make a slightly unplanned stop and then via Primrose Hill, one of the best locations to get a view of London City.
Finally heading through Camden up to the huge wild woodland and meadow Hamsptead Heath to stop at Kenwood House for a drink and cake.Many areas on this cycle ride are world famous in their own right and also made popular as filming locations such as Notting Hill, Lady in the Van, Finding Your Feet, Hampstead and Bridget Jones’s Diary.

I noticed the waterway from a scene in "the Gentlemen" where dry eye turns on Lord George! awesome ride!

Your in my manor, Great video.. But still how do you know where you're going? Lol, When are you doing another London ride ?

Maps on my phone usually but I know my way around a few parts of central London ☺️ I hadn’t planned on another until I came up with a couple of possible ideas a few months ago so I might do at some point. It just costs quite a bit to get up there but I have a real soft spot for the smoke.

@@MadisonTen Hey as we are mentioning London, I know of a great ride that runs along the River lea it's starts at Limehouse and goes right up into Ware (Hertfordshire) about 27 miles but it's up to you if you want longer or shorter. I thought I mention it because it looks like you will like it as it's similar to a lot of your other canal rides.?

@@ChrisyC567 Thanks! That looks great. That’s the sort of distance I look at, 30 to 50 miles generally depending how much there is to visit and more importantly if I have to cycle back ☺️

@@MadisonTen Sorry not Limehouse it's from Leamouth. Just Google maps the cycle route from Leamouth to Ware.. 👍🏻
