Another fine DVD captures the 15th concert (8th of 13 @ Ronnie Scott’s London) performed by the Notting Hillbillies at the end of July through to August 1st in 1998. Entering their second week of their residency at the venue, they were, performing their set like a well-oiled machine by this stage. Pity we couldn’t say the same about Brendan’s throat this night. He had “lost his voice”, so Mark had to sing ‘Feel like going home’. Plenty of nice moments throughout with Mark’s, -playing during guitar solos really blossoming. A great example is the fantastic extended adlib, outro to ‘Calling Elvis’.
