Ipswich fan here. Expecting a tough game tomorrow. We may have turned a corner of late but we’re still a work in progress as a prem side. I really like Forest as a team and a club. It’s good to see them solidly establishing themselves in the top half of the Prem. I hope we can emulate them in this. For what it’s worth my first ever match at Ipswich was against Nottingham Forest in January 1981. Ipswich won 2-0 at Portman Road. That was another era with Forest the reigning double European Champions. Brian Clough v Bobby Robson. The Forest team that day was legendary: Shilton, Kenny Burns, Viv Anderson, John Robertson and up front the brilliant Trevor Francis. Loads of other household names. We had our best team of my lifetime then with John Wark and Paul Mariner my favourite players. We never realised then how hard it would be for provincial clubs to dominate again. Hopefully Forest can put that right again one day. As I say they are a proper club and I’d enjoy seeing them succeed. Just not on Saturday please!

Fellow Town fan here. That Forest side you refer to really was something else. For better or worse the top tier of English football has changed. Leicester's league title was a blip, and the days of newly promoted sides qualifying for Europe are most probably over. As much as I would love to get three points on Saturday I'd be happy with a point.

Sad for us Forest-fans to say I belive the style Ipswich is playing most likely gonna make us struggle getting out of our own box. I just hope we don't do the build up play for their attack for them. Ipswich looked a level over Man U much of the time last game.

They/re not that good.......Ipswich have had a win at Spurs who had a very bad day and a draw against a Manure team with a first game new coach. Ipswich are bottom 3 for a reason

@@tbeau6663you haven’t watched is much then. We have only been poor against Everton and West Ham. Unlikely not to have won against Fulham, Villa and United, plus robbed by the officials against Leicester.

Ipswich are good going forward, but they can't defend. Davis the left back, should really be a wing-back, as he's fabulous in attack, but a total liability as he's often caught out of position and is to blame for Ipswich conceding...... Muric the keeper, is either a world beater or a panel beater!! It really is a case for Forest to score more than they do. Wood should do well against their sub-standard centre backs.
