Start of the FA Cup semi-final football match between Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) and Nottingham Forest. GV. Spurs kick off, playing right to left. LV. Ball is now centred and Alan Gilzean gets his head to it but goalkeeper Peter Grummitt collects easily. LV. Forest attack, Barry Lyons centres ball from right wing. There is a free for all in the goal area until Dave Mackay heads the ball over for a corner. LV. Lyons takes the corner. Frank Wignall heads the ball to goal, Cyril Knowles saves on the line with his knees then clears the ball. GV. Spurs attack. Alan Mullery tries a shot, it is deflected by Forest defender to Jimmy Greaves who shoots and Grummitt only just saves. LV. Forest attack. LV. The ball is centred. Barnwell heads and the ball goes just over the bar. LV. Spurs attack, the ball rolls to Greaves. GV. Greaves shoots and the ball goes into the net off the post for Spurs first goal. Pan to players congratulating Greaves. LV. Crowd cheering. GV. Spurs attack in second half, Frank Saul shoots. Grummitt pushes the ball away, Gilzean gets to the ball first. LV. As he tries a shot Grummitt makes a good save and pushes the ball away. SV. General play. LV. Alan Mullery with the ball. He centres it across front of goal and both Greaves and Gilzean miss an open goal. LV. Spurs attack again, Saul shoots, ball goes into the net for Spurs second goal. SV. Players congratulating Saul. LV. Crowd cheering. GV. Spurs attack again, the ball is centred for Gilzean. He heads the ball into the air. LV. As he heads the ball again and Grummitt makes a good save. LV. Forest attack, Forest forward tries a shot at close range and Pat Jennings deflects the ball over for a corner. LV. Forest forward takes a corner. Terry Hennessey heads, the ball hits the under side of the bar and bounces just over the line. GV. Crowd cheering. SV Spurs players coming off at end of the match. Final score - Tottenham Hotspur 2, Nottingham Forest 1.
