We don't cross enough today at spurs. Gilzean would've been wanted by every team in europe. What a player, maybe the best header of the ball all time

I was at Jimmy Greaves' testimonial against Feyenoord, 1972. He scored in the first few minutes and I missed it! We won, though. Great memory.

The Spurs were always a team that you would want to see on Match of the Day. Didn't win much but they had some cracking players always looking to do things the right way. Things haven't really changed. Still a good side to watch and root for if they are not playing your team.

Spurs has the best pool of gifted and talented players during the 80s . Its a pity that they couldnt win the league during that era. Hodle, Clive Allen, Graham Roberts., Ardilles, Ricky Villa, Wadle, Perryman, Crooks, Archibald, Gary Steven, Mahbut, Hughton, Clemence, Gascoigne, Paul Miller, were superb players but still couldnt win the league because Liverpool was the best team that ruled during the 70s and 80s
